THURSDAY 7/12/06
-----------------------

Police crime investigator, rings as concerned about car stolen
twice in a week, asked for a version of events.....
I insisted on having fingerprints taken, within 2 hours a fingerproofer
came and did his task, lovely policeman, we had a giggle and a chat.
The feMALe crime investigator was excellent, as was the Insurance person
we talked to this morning.

I wonder if they read the site, today I wanting to flex my musles but.......

Tomorrow an Insurance representative will visit the house for assessment.

PS MT79 : that car I bought at the auctions was a shrewd invesment
I bought it for $3,500, spent nearly $1k on it and eventualy made about $150 profit!

Had my own run-in a couple of months back on Victoria Rd, Port Adelaide. The 2 lanes merged into 1 due to roadworks, there was plenty of time and space and I indicated as I merged into the one lane. Meanwhile a Monaro hoons into view (must have been doing at least 100 into what had just become a 25km zone) and nearly rams up my arse. Cue plenty of cursing and gesturing from the feral peril.

I (stupidly in retrospect) gave him a smart-arsed thumbs up sign, certainly didn't flip him the bird or anything like that. Anyway, as soon as the road split back into 2 he started trying to run me off the road, first by tailgaiting then by swerving side to side. I'd slow right down, so would he. This went on for what seemed like ages, I knew he wasn't going to risk his penis extension so I just kept on going, straight ahead and thoroughly sh*tting myself to be honest.

Coming up to the Birkenhead Bridge lights I got stuck behind a tractor and the light went red. ****!!! I locked the doors and out he came, this meathead with no neck and huge gold rings on both hands. Screaming blue murder. I didn't give the cnut eye contact, he just pummelled my window, scratching it, a few times. Got back in his car and sped off over the bridge at speed.

I got his plate no. and actually watched him turn into what must be his workplace as I see his car there all the time...now I'm just biding my time...heh heh

Anyway, went to the police and they were sympathetic enough. I described him as someone that looked like a bikie. They identified him and said, yeah he is a bikie, quite a well known one, and one who likes guns. Hmmm...joy...I took their recommendation that I didn't press charges as I didn't relish facing up to him and his minions in court. They said he'd get a talking to and I'd be informed. Of course, that was the last I heard of it.

And to think this prick will be out there at Christmas in a red suit delivering teddy bears to sick kiddies. Scum.

I was at the Modbury Hotel Friday evening with a mate. We were going to go back to my place and drink on, but he wanted to go home first so he went there. At his house (which is actually my house I rent to him) were two other mates who were there for another reason. My mate talked to them and got his 4 month old Blue Heeler puppy from the yard to bring to my house.

Diesel (the puppy) usually runs around my mates feet - doesn't go far.

This time though, whilst he was talking to the two friends, Diesel walked a bit away from the group towards the road.

At the time, the WHITE VL in question came up the road (main road). My mate heard what he thought was a backfire. The car then did a U turn and came back, fist pumping the air, cheering. Then, drove off.

One of the two guys who were there went a bit down the road, and said "Chris, don't come down here..."

My mate then almost teared up and ran towards the road, where Diesel was lying on the road, dead.

The backfire sound wasn't a backfire - it was the sound of the car hitting the puppy.

That is a very sad story and my sympathy goes out to all concerned. Cruelty to animals really gets to me.

My brother has a 10-week old blue heeler pup - a lovely little thing. I can imagine how gut wrenching this must have been.

I hope the perpetrators come to justice for this.

Dog_ger had his car stolen.

Waited weeks for the police to find it.

One day received a phone call from the Gawlar council.

PLEASE remove your vehicle from the beach...... Or a fee (i Cannot remember. It was heaps.) will be charged....

When I got there. Only the shell was there.

They found me because my rear number plate was hanging by one screw.

My car had died in the desert and everything had eaten it.

A police car arrived to check me out.

They said, to remove the number plate and toss it in the sea..... No one can trace your car then.....

Which I did......

Thank you Police..... I hate car stealers.......

There was 2 child seats in the back seat.....

I hope the same happens to those blokes....!
Smile :)

It's only Money $$$ :)

What is happening to our SANFL guys...

That's a joke - I think the cops sold you a dummy there zipzap. I suspect they may have other matters to discuss with him and don't want to get in his face until they can catch him for the bigger stuff.

As for raod rage I doubt he would come after you - too small time a charge to be bothered with most likely. Not saying I dont blame you but I just think you only got some of the story. If you ever have a problem with police efficiency, just ask to speak to the LSA Commander - that works! The non-commissioned officers (senior sergeant rank and below) hate having the brass brought in to problems especially when its demanded.
