Good game till 3/4 time, pretty even and i think FP a goal up, then Plympton went bang-bang-bang-bang-bang and she was all over!

Plympton are a bloody fit side for 3rds, and one thing ive noticed in C Grade is you generally get 1 or 2 fatty-boomba's in the side, but plympton have none, sure there are a couple of overweight guys, myself being one of them when i finally play, but no fatty-boomba's.

Fitness may be the telling factor this year.

They played their oval very well. Tough oval to get any run going but i would say the second time we play we will have a very diffrent side out their. Not taking anything away from Plympton they did play very well. Should be very interesting to see the table after round 9. Hard to judge anyone at this stage till the sides settle a bit!!!

as will all sides... every week sides change... saw something ive never seen before on saturday, are centre half back was being tagged!!! i was a little surprised when yu guys kept kicking down his throat....
your full forward looks good... big fella... good hard hit out i thought... played in good spirits.. look forward til next time.
If ur gonna tag any Half Back tag number #25 from Hope Valley. carved us up and always seemed to be loose.

He was loose because you blokes were playing a loose man in defence duncs, so we had one too (obviously). You just chose to let him roam free all afternoon instead of manning him up. Most players with some sort of ability would have a day out too, without an opponent all day!!

Just in reply to the Plympton CHB tagging issue. It was more a situation of trying to make him accountable to curb his influence, which was rather heavy i might add, than actually tagging him. He (number 17 from memory) is a very good player, reads the play so well and moves well. Plympton are a very good side, with some blokes playing in there that, with all due respect to div 5, should be playing higher than C grade. And please, dont take this as accusational, its more af a reflection of the solid depth that Plympton have

We lost by 14 points, a fairly good start for a team considering half the players haven't met each other or the coach before. Looking forward to how they go against your boys tomorrow, the team that was put up last night didn't look that bad.

Turmoil at PFC, B & C Grade coaches had a huge argument at selection over a player coming back in through the grades, C Grade coach walked out. Took 3 players with him that could play higher, unsure of where he is going.

Unbelievable scenes.

although huge scenes in the selection room at The Lodge as well between the C Grade coach and the Footy Director - C Grade coach ripped into him and the A grade coaching panel for leaving all their dirty plates in there - PIGS 8)

We don't have that problem at HV. The C grade coach just sits there and minds his own business, quietly handing over magnets from his board to the B grade coach of the players who played well the week before, wishing he'd kept quiet about how well they played! ;) He then picks a side from the players still available...

It must have been pretty serious for him to walk out and take players with him. Are these players Plympton boys through and through? Surprised they'd leave if they were. The Club is bigger than ANY individual IMO...

I think they are players that have just decided to walk out with him and not worry about footy for the year, some decent players though, handy up higher. It was a strange night, as it spilled out into the clubrooms as he stormed out the door...
