Never thought I'd be saying this to a magpie but stick with it the wheel will turn. Are spurs a good chance for champions league

Perhaps my post was a bit vague - I don't believe this will be our last season, but there is a chance it could be.

I think the club's administration is doing a great job of fighting their way out of the current predicament. It will be the most important victory in our history.

Cheers mate.

And yep - Spurs are a great chance for CL football. Make sure you jump on the 'Soccer' forum for the last couple of weeks!

I doubt it. If Showdown was a Power home game then probably.

Nah, you can't park your car around the edge of the oval at Alberton, so the SA fans will stay at home.

I dont think this game will break any attendance records but I think there will be plenty of support from South Adelaide people. People forget that many Southies are still living between Gepps cross and Darlington, after all the club commenced in the southern streets of the CBD in the 1870's and played its home matches at Adelaide Oval up until the 1990's.
I'm 15 minutes from Alberton, will relish the short trip to the footy for a change, and will be there for sure.

If anyone turns up that has been supporting South from the 1870s, I reckon they should get in for free.

My great great grandma supported them back in the late 1800's but she jumped off during our bleak period from 1900-2009. Go figure..... Anyway, she tells me she's back on board so I'll send her down there if it's free entry !!
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

a few have jumped off choccies since the 1870's. Maybe a few might jump back on. Best last crowd I have seen of South fans was in 2006 finals against Port and North. Just goes to show people support winners. Only loyal fans stick with the club no matter what. Absolutely must put in a similar performance to last week against Port otherwise we will get rolled and look stupid by being beaten by the bottom team.

Wow. Most important. I'm stoked. 140 years and the most important game ever is a minor against South. We have come along way.

Devils wasnt my intention of being mean just that it would be a typical trate of South to have a good win and let themselves down the following week by losing badly. Just remember we have been there many more times than you have. I think most south supporters would not count any game as a win before the game has finished. We are a loyal bunch but very sceptical because of our experiences following south.

I know mate - all good!

I have to make light of the situation we currently find ourselves in. Otherwise I'd cry!

If it makes you feel better, my Dad still talks about a season (can't for the life of me recall which one) where Port won the flag with only one defeat for the season - against South, who incidentally only won one game for the season. (Can't find the record for this, so it may be tosh, but my old man talks about that season every 5 minutes).

Didnt pass comment as I didnt go and from what I gather there wouldn't have been much for me to write about anyway. Thanks for being concerned though. ;)

So I can then safely assume you've been to most Crows games, North board meetings and police investigations of Matthew Stokes then?

Being a tad hypocritical and selective lately Mr Boon! ;)
