I think CU should beat Athelstone actually..

I dont think so. Athelstone pushed a full strength Mawson Lakes and from all accounts played very very well.

Who said we were full strength? :)

Raggies are a quality unit & I think they'll win but wouldn't surprise me if CU got up....may be closer than some people think.

I have a few mates out there all playing a grade. one of the said you blokes were 'pretty much fullstrength' I should have worded it better sorry

Mr M. What are you on buddy?
Like the Riddler said "full strength?" No need for rumours or assumptions. C'mon, if you want to dribble on here at least make it relevant.

Athelstone played very well and as expected, by all accounts will do well come september. As will CU who we came up against the week prior.

A very good balance of talent across div 7 this year.

Its gonna be a CRACKER!

Wow, what happened?

Luckily there is a bit of depth out there at the Hawks or you may be playing short.

We had 6 under 18s playing C grade and they have thee first game this week. We also have approx 15 injuries to A&B grade players. The injury board in the changerooms has 31 names on it missing this week!

The teams dont look to bad however and would still expect a strong showing.

31 missing and the team still looks pretty strong. Ah the luxury. We can only wish.

I would have to agree with ya there.. I have been out due to dislocating my elbow and shoulder in round one. I think Mr M. You need to take a good hard look at how we are playing i have been out at training with the group things are starting to look up. Did it ever drop into your mind that the team needs to gel together before they can play good footy. You could put the best players on the park and if they were not used to each other or if they didnt even know each others names how do you think they will play footy?? you know nothing at all about div 7 this year and no nothing about central united club mate. So stop going around saying you have mates here and there telling you things. what do you need to know about it for, remember you left the club so stop commenting about it mate

I couldnt care less how good you think you blokes will go... Im a realist and I know your club wont play finals.. I know I made the right choice leaving your club. Your club makes decision that bring players down. Your A grade is not even your strongest selectable A grade every week.
Deadset, if it wasnt for a handful of your blokes running there mouths off bragging they had the premiership sewn up in the pre-season I would let it rest. The fact that I was looked at like an Idiot when I told certain players to not get ahead of themselves and the comp wont be easy like they think it will be p***ed me off even more.. To are many good blokes out there and many good 'Div 7' footballers aswell but the attitude of alot of them would never ever cut it at a well set club in a respectable division.

did you not read my follow up reply to 'the riddlers' reply? The one where I corrrected myself? There is not at all a good balance in div 7 either, if there was a good balance the comp will still be tight at round 17 which it wont be. Lets all be for real here.. According to my housemate your president or head coach said to him 'come the Mawson Lakes and win a premiership'... Wow, must be an even balance if heads of your superstar outfit are saying that.. Very modest I must say
And how isnt any post about div 7 not relevant.. Maybe someone needs to get off there High Horse.

Mr M I'm a fan of yours but this is bollocks, your housemate rates himself like nobody I've ever met and the day I see our President at the Alma at 1am in the morn we'll see pigs flying and if you've ever met our coach (hi) you'd know he never talks or makes ridiculous comments like this...rest assured "IF" this was infact said by somebody else at the Alma involved with the club that night they would have or will be put back in their place ;)
