Good night racing (might head down for a little while- if I get time)

Race 1 - 3 off the front and 4 off the back, don't see that very often... 10 clearly on top (hope he goes forward from the start) and for a place take 1,4,7,8,9
Race 2 - 1 an absolute certainty - place hopes to 2,3,4,7 (6 can't place)... especially the 7 a place - think it's gate speed has improved and can hold the back of 1
Race 3 - Boxed Trifecta 1,7,10 here.. (7 my favourite of the 3)
Race 4 - 3 to lead and win - place hopes to 1,5,7,9,10
Race 5 - 9 and 10 the top hopes with 4,7,8,11 the place hopes (risk the 6 with Preston back driving)
Race 6 - 1 should lead and help the 7 to win... 7 will win, place hopes to 1,3,5,8 (especially 5)
Race 7 - 1 to lead and run the quinella with 2 and place hopes to 3,5,6
Race 8 - Tough race, 5 and 6 are ant's and can't win (don't think 2230m suits 4 - especially when it can't lead - 1 will lead) so go with 1,2,3,7 as the hopes
Race 9 - 8 is going good (Bayman backed it @$30 last week) and should win with 2,3,4,6,7 as the place hopes

Suggested Bets
R2 - 1 W
R3 Boxed Multis 1,7,10
R4 - 3 W
R6 - 7 W
R7 - 1+2 Quin
R9 - 8 E/W

Betfair suggestions
R 5- 7 going no good at all
R 8 - 4 can't lead, so don't think it can win

$1.80 Franco No Fear - will be closer to $1.20 (if your lucky)
$2.50 Saved a Corka - will be closer to $1.50 and should just lead and win...

Have you got any value for us Mal??? Best roughie or something?

r1 an open race with numerous chances 1,4,7,8,10 i personally like 4 e/w as it'll lead & give a big sight if it was 1800m i would think it a good thing
r2 well no 1 looks the leader & unbeatable had a soft win at vh for the multis 2,7 while the rest could easily make up 3rd & 4th
r3 open race chances 1,4,7,8,10 & a rough chance to 6 despite the draw
r4 well 3 should lead & win main dangers 2 (who should get behind the leader),7 & for the multis 1,5,8,9,10
r5 the trott a few with a chance here 6,7,8,9,10,11 i'd think 9 is the best horse while 10 was a great run at vh but is unreliable but if trotted would go very close & 11 if it takes no harm from it 'entanglement' last start would go close as well & could be value
r6 on paper its a match race between 5,7 but with 'team mates' in the race, 7 will win for multis obviously 5 with 1,2,6,8
r7 i think if you take 2,3,5,6 in the trifecta you'd get it with 6 on top as i can see speed being on here & 6 running over the top of them
r8 top three 3,4,6 with next best 1 who improved on monday when it led
r9 top pick will be 8 but i wont be on as it'll be about 13/8 & i backed it last week at $30+ only to get beaten by the cheat lane    other hopes 2,4,5,6,7 & a watch on 3

suggested bet(s)

r1 no4 e/w

allup
r2 no1 win
r4 no3 win
r6 no7 win

dutchy,ag's & now punks :!: betfair lay of the night :!: :!:

i would be laying r 6 1 & or 6 as they'll be out there for the 'stablemate" or even lay 5

good luck on the punt

I moved Bayman's post to here, as we only need 1 thread on Globe Derby Park!

c'mon mal be fair there was 2 scratchings after printing so the price would automatically shorten especially with the 2 that came out however 1.80 was overs anyway

Scratched was $3-80 + $11 = close to 33% for the scratchings
33% of the $1-80[deducting only from the $0-80 winnings] = about 27cents
$1-80 less 27 cents = $1-53
tab paid 1-10
So the paper presented charity AGAIN

Good point raised with the scratchings BAYMAN but the last 50 bets that i have put up in the
LATE MAL about 47 have paid less than the paper.

R4-3 SAVED A CORKA is quoted at $2-50 in the advertiser.
What do you reckon this LATE MAL will pay on the TAB :?:
I reckon it will SP on the TAB at odds on.
PS no scratchings in this race.

Why is it that BAYMAN/SCD/MAL all know that SAVED A CORKA will be odds on :?:

mals bets race 3
---------------------

just backed
r3-4 born a corka ew
r3-6 surgery ew

just a couple of roughies , see how i go lads
