Dunno where this idea that spurs have a high turnover of managers comes from?

I expect spurs will be a real challenger for a top 3 next year

been four over the past few years that i know of. higher then most if not all clubs.

Of the 16 you've listed, David Pleat is in there 3 times and Clive Allen twice.

David Pleat was our director of football in the 90's only managed Spurs in a caretaker role, so he can't be included as a manager who was given the role and then sacked.

As for Clive Allen, he was the reserve team coach under Martin Jol. When Jol was sacked, Allen was caretaker manager for 1 game before Juande Ramos was installed. He was also listed on the team sheet as caretaker manager on the day that Harry Rednkapp was unveiled as manager, because Spurs could not have Harry registered as first team manager in time for the game against Bolton. So once againt, you can't include him as a manager that was given the role, then sacked.

Take those 5 incorrect listings out and you have 11 different managers. Not great, but less than Chelski!

No doubt spurs have been unsettled by managerial changes, but as JTC noted, it's nowhere near as bad as some make it out to be and a far cry from the stats you've copied from a blatantly incorrect source.

Ahahahahahahahaha, so when Spurs beat Bolton in the solitary game that Clive Allen was listed as caretaker manager in 2008 (despite Harry Redknapp being at the ground and calling the shots, but not being listed as manager due to still being officially on Pompey's books), the club heirarchy said "ohhhh, that's it, we've had it with Clive and his winning ways. Sack him now. Enough is enough".

And when Pleaty had a couple of games in the '90's the club officially sacked him and replaced him? That's funny given that he was kept on as Director of Football.
