Unfortunatly not Masha... Nothing to tell as yet.

They all seem to be going to R&C!

All ? So what happens to the rest of the club after an influx of imports ?

are you suggesting that rose and crown will drop to grade 6 when ben stama and d ellis retire in a few years?? gee thats a huge call... like sals west i think rose and crown are better than that...

You wouldn't think so, but you never know after a mass exodus... My query is on the reliabilty of Ben Stama's weary bones.....

R & C picking up a couple players will only make the club stronger. especially considering last year they never had a settled side with players unavailable. the inclusion of two players will only help with that scenario and make the fringe players earn there spots!!!

In all honesty, who really cares, there's only 10 good balls in an innings, perhaps the PDCA needs to look at a rule stating you can only have 1 new player per season.
Looking at Rosies team last season there was definitely a couple of spots there that they needed to fill. Some GF players didn't really do a lot during the season, good luck to them if they have gained some quality, it hasn't cost them.
There's nothing wrong with having the upper echelon of teams raise bar to keep the standard on the increase.

I heard the first two have signed, I spoke to Tim about 3 weeks ago and he hadn't decided at that stage, is this very recent?

The term "have heard" would imply that it is rumour... I heard half of Playford were going to Smithfield, but you never believe what you hear till they walk onto the field.

Exception to the rule is when people know it is fact and want to advertise it to the field, but play it as a rumour. whufc could be the President of CCC for all I know.

Without seeing any signed paperwork I'm 99% sure that Steve and Al have committed to CCC. Half of Playford were never heading out to Smithfield, Steve and Al spoke of it after our one-dayer, Smithfield definetely were interested in their services, there were only two others that have had some implications that they might suit up for Smithfield next season.
