Re: 2014 SANFL GRAND FINAL NORWOOD V PA RESERVES
Nah, let them bring their scarves which they've been told are original and unique and terribly clever....and don't brand them as mindless sheep that swallow the slops that drip out of Alberton at all. Let them think that their PortOneClubAcademyReservesMagPower spin doctors and lazy hypocrites never just copied an idea from Liverpool FC. Let them come in their confused branding of white, silver, teal and black lightning strikes and homo erotic fists and piping shrikes and let them be TORN APART as they were last week.
This GF is shite for the SANFL comp for so many obvious reasons, but at least as a Nwd, SANFL (and hence South) supporter I get to see my mob TEAR THEM APART twice in a fortnight.
Bring it! Go Legs!
And to the mindless brainwashed sheep, when you say "Pahr Pahr"', you do realize what you actually sound like?7

Of the existing SANFL teams that have won a Grand Final at Adelaide Oval,
Which team has had the longest drought since its last GF win at AO ?

How cute. Such a lovely post.
So just confirming :
Can I or can I not wear my scarfe? ( Most sports around the world have similar items, not unique to Port Adelaide, we are aware of that )
I may wear my Penrith Panthers hat, please confirm this is acceptable attire, I would hate to be turned away at the gate if dressed in a manner deemed unacceptable by you and your MONSFAW kindred.
Thanks mate.

Re: 2014 SANFL GRAND FINAL NORWOOD V PA RESERVES
Onto the game, can Port get a ruckman from somewhere?
Bauldy and Dawe will dominate Bruggy and Harvey as every side has this finals.
Port need to play J Butcher if he declares himself fit as they have nothing up forward. They have a reasonable defence and 8-10 top class (SANFL level) onballers is where they get the advantage. They bat deeper in the midfield.
Will Jimmy Allen play?
Looking forward to a great game and the Legs getting up in a close one.
As for what they are called or what they chant, isn't that their prerogative?, they have a side in the competition - wether it be a reserves or thirds side, they have a team in our competition.

Maybe McEvoy can play for them too.

Hit Outs were 73 - 28 fair gap there

A lack of a decent ruckmen hasnt stopped them getting to the GF.
From what I've seen, an area Norwood need to focus on is Port's outside run. They have a player sit off the packs, boundary side, and flick it out to them while everyone else is trying to get the pill. Once out, Port are off and running as they players down the field are all sitting boudary side of their opponents.
Port need to play 4 quarters of footy. The last two games they have been 3rd Quarter specialists, if they are in front at 1/2 time they are in with a huge chance. If Norwood are in front at 3/4 time its going to be tough for Port.
Hopefully there is a huge crowd, 40,000+ isnt out of the question.

I can't see the crowd swelling to 40,000, will be great if it does though. Many neutrals have made it clear they won't attend while Port Adelaide are playing and that's their right.
I would think 30-35,000 would be around the mark.

Re: 2014 SANFL GRAND FINAL NORWOOD V PA RESERVES
The SANFL are budgeting for a bigger crowd than last year's Grand Final given that it is the first Grand Final back at Adelaide and it is between the two biggest crowd pullers in the league. They were bitterly disappointed with yesterday's crowd.

You would think that 40K isnt that far out of the questions considering the crowd was 36K at last year's GF between Norwood and North. The Magpies/Power fans will be there in droves, well those that arent still in Melbourne.
I would think that some neutral supporters havent gotten their panties in a twist about the AFL v SANFL stuff and will be going to see a really good game of footy.
