we have recruited 4 players so far too,

McCarty from South,
Saunders from Norwood,
Zac Diekman from Qld,
Josh Fahey from GWS.

Zac Diekman has just been signed by Kapunda (his junior club) for the 2026 season.

All our players have a club to drop back to,
they might need to go back if returning from an injury or hit poor form.

Players coming on from interstate wouldn't generally sign up for a local club.
I suspect Zac might play more at Kapunda than the Dogs.

Apparently Diekman is in the same mould as Linke,
talent to burn, will start in the 2's but expected to step up & play A's in the 2nd half of the season.

Centrals will have Cochrane for another 12 months. He'll play a similar amount that Sharp did for us this year.

I'm hopeful that both Ethan East and Mihail Lochowiak are injury free and big pre-seasons. They certainly add plenty to our team

Good point I did forgot him with my post. Hopeful some of the younger players get an opportunity like Tattoli and Reed for example. Reed impressed up forward

Gunston wasnt a Hawthorn player when he played for us
2 others not mentioned Gene Chiron & Chopper Handley
Will McCabe is there at the moment as well and his dad Luke played for Hawthorn and is now on the board
as well as being a 2 time premiership player with us
