There will be no changes, the AFL-SA Commission is 100% behind the AFL sides, period.

Agree. There were similar rumours and stories discussed on here during last season. Will come to nothing, as it should.

Interesting that Rooch discounts the Crows placing a team in the Amateur League due to lack of infrastructure. Would have been nice if some decision makers and the media had the common sense to realise that when they voted, rather than consider it as a genuine option up the Crows sleeve.

And the discussion has started that they, the commission, need to go. They came in for the AFL liscence which evolved to liscences, they have gone so why still have them. Its not like they do it for free.

8 team comp, 21 rounds final four. Any takers?

The commission has no say in the expulsion or addition of teams into the SANFL.

Purely the league directors as per the SANFL constitution

Then clearly you have NFI how football is run in this state. Most clubs are broke and rely on AFL-SA to survive, which effectively gives them absolute power.

Look at the fixtures and out of bounds rules this year, is that the will of the clubs?

Bend over and just accept the reaming, it's not going to stop anytime soon.

If that's the case I hope the comp folds then.
Fans are getting more and more agitated and starting to take a stand. The Cornes incident will be the first of many

What by referring to the constitution the league is run by ??? How stupid of me.

The only reason SANFL invented afl clubs and gave you our market was so you could make us money.

Go and cry about the umpiring last night and duck off.

The Directors are too scared to take on AFL-SA, regardless of the constitution, because AFL-SA hold the financial keys to their survival. Unless this changes, sore arses all around.

When the ABC was televising the league they always broadcast the ANZAC day GF rematch, and IIRC did this on top of the regular weekend coverage.

This year it appears that there will be no telecast. Don't want to upset the sponsors by drawing attention away from that other game, it seems.

Meanwhile the interlopers get another game covered.

This is the increased media coverage that was promised. Rome is not merely burning; it has been nuked.
