Co-captain Scott Humphrys has picked up a job in WA. Unfortunate timing for the Roosters but these things happen.
He'll probably end up playing in the Goldfields Football League, Kalgoorlie.

Went to the game last night and Mallala clearly controlled the game in the A's. They would have had controll of the ball about 70% of the game. I know its a trial but Pooraka are in Div3 and looked a little ordinary i hope they were missing a couple.

without seeing any APFL games, i would say the top 4-5 NEFL teams would beat any Div3 teams when both are at full strength.

Mallala were on top for most of the match and ran the game out much better. Other than some pretty ordinary form (2 or 3 sent off) from a few of the Pooraka boys in the sceond half

the majority of the match was played at a reasonable pace and with good toughness. No major injuries for Mallalam but a few boys would be still feelin the pinch today at a guess.
How did all the other trials go?
