Heard that old chestnut, long time reader, first time poster. Love it!
Just like my 4 wives, the boys in white should be seen and not heard.
Sadly for Skip, his second side was done like a dinner and as Media Mike would say, they exposed their soft underbelly.
Might take a cut lunch a go watch the Metwurst eaters next week.
Bear Cat has now replaced the Miner with a statue of Rocket Brown.
Look forward to hear Tyler blow a head gasket this week when Coach Haddens troops do a number on the redlegs.

Just thought I would give a shout out to the great job the umpires have done this year. These thick skinned blokes have the hardest gig out on the field and are doing a job 95% of the abusive crowd would not do in a life time. Good to see Robbie Polito was back in action a week or so ago too, takes country umpiring to another level.

What the F*#K, obviously we have another umpire on this site. 95% hostile, good one, they would be 95% friendly if they made the right decisions. I must say that the umpiring is not too bad in this league but 95% champ, honestly just put your cards on the table and tell us what your position is?

Seriously mate, read the post properly..."95% of the abusive crowd" not "95% of the entire crowd which is entirely abusive"...
As a clubman through and through and a former junior umpire, I'd like to see you out there umpiring A grade on any given week big fella! ;)

BL&G umps do a great job, not right 100% of the time, but remember, Tanunda did lose on the weekend, not everyone's perfect like you skip

Must admit I read this one last thought and thought the same as you Skip but I took it to mean that entire crowd is abusive. Mayor Quimby you certainly have made a splash with your first post and I don't believe too many people will disagree with you that the umpires do a pretty good job in this league. Patriach just settle down champ, I think Skips thoughts maybe reflected in a few of us that have read that post wondering where the Mayor on his maiden post was coming from and what their motives where. By the way Patriach if you go back far enough you may note that Skips real alliance is with the redlegs but pretends to support us.

On us, Tanunda will certainly struggle for numbers this week with a number off on state duties and a few injuries. Looks like Westhoff is stuffed for the season now, early thoughts where he would be right by finals but that seems unlikely.

I can tell you that Kapunda are a very good side this year and the clash with South will be a belter, looks to be a real battle now between the 3 top sides.

Beef, I think he has played about 3 games in the A's this season, have not seen much of the reserves this year due to work commitments but he seems to be one of those solid fringe players but lets face it, it has been a very hard A grade side to crack but things are not too rosey with numbers at the moment and he has played the last 2. Will keep you updated.

This weeks winners

Bar v Willaston-Barossa back to near full strength will belt the Donnybrooks by 10 goals and finish finals hopes for Donnies
Ango V Freeling-Ango just because it is a home game by 3 goals - rather watch paint dry than watch this game
South v Kapunda-Be a great game and mcKenzie will be the key if he rucks-South to win by 2 goals-prelude to premlimenary final
Tan v Nuri - with 4 out to state duties along with Westie it will test our strength to the limit - will bring up a couple of under 17's and will still beat the Tigers by 3 goals at home with the crowd going wild when we beat the arch enemy

If Barossa beat the donnies, is that the end for the coach? And the $ he tips into recruiting players?
Will they be able to afford to keep all their recruits of the last 2 seasons?

Good call Roo, this is a big game this one as is Tan v Nuri, if Nuri get over a depleted Tan it will make everything very interesting. If the Donnies lose then it is pretty well their finals campaign over if it already isn't and I'm sure questions will be asked?

All the best to you boys in Wagga Uncle Sam. Hope Billy can run himself into some form during the carnival and may also have a tough time taking an injury into the carnival.

TFC are not a club to glout but yestedays victory over the Nuri Tigers was simply outstanding-what other club could carry the loss of 4 players in the State team and Big Bad Barry a late withdrawl and still get the job done by 10 goals-the loss to kapunda was a loss we had to have and anyone wanting money against us going top can give me a call.Skip can you recall a better win over the last 5 years?

Osma that would have been the final straw losing to Freeling and must surely end coach Hadden's coaching tenure at Angaston.
Hadds is a great bloke but the club needs an outsider to take over and bring players him so that the 15 points you have next year can be used to the full.Bennett, Ruwoldt , Fosdike all below par for the money they are recieving and only Sugars has a minor plus mark.
Get some players in that give 100% and supplement the good group of young kids coming through.I know he is a bit strange at times but Steve O'Connor is a good coach and has a list of players and can bring to any club he goes to.
Pech and Harvey are a must to get back with 4 quality key players Ango will be back to a strong team.
Get Media Mike involved in recruiting and ya sure to have success(just kidding)

Barossa only up by 7 points at 1/2 Time, come out and kick 12.5 to 1.4 in the 3rd quarter

Well done Sammy but I actually don't support your club, I was at another ground yesterday but I would have thought that there where 4 other victories over the past 5 years that would have been better.

There's no excuses for the donnybrooks their list is a good as any of the top 4.

A change of jockey is the quick fix but I doubt Steve Barrassi will return to willaston. The group will just have to write this one up into the stiff sh-t book and respond by winning the last 4.
The writing is on the wall - learn to read and you might survive

My apologies Skip meant Swooper still on a high after that magnificent win yesterday-while the 4 GF wins are remarkable the win yesterday was up there with those due to our outs and the game being against the arch enemy

Feeling were outstanding in the second half, especially after Tyler gave them a rocket at 3/4 time. The panthers look good on paper, having said that they had some handy outs sitting in the outer. Looks like we may have avoided the spoon. Didn't get to have a beer with daisy, you still following the boys mate?

No need for the panic button at this stage Sambo.
From what I understand Coach Hadden will be going on again in 2013, but may need to settle for Coach Hadden, not Playing Coach Hadden.
Yes some work to do in the recruiting stakes with some extra points to play with.
Will be in a good position when the box heads fall from grace in 2013.
