Smart coaching if they are. I reckon top spot in the Amateurs is a hindrance more than an advantage. Pretty hard to keep blokes focused only playing 2 games including a GF if they went straight through. In an ideal world 2nd is a good way through to the end IMHObandar wrote:Modbury looked quite flat. Top spot sown up are they loading on the training?

Bad luck lads all the faith i showed in you blokes proved a waist of time, i thought Athelstone were bad last week. What the hell got in to me to pick SMOSSHHHH? i did say i was ILL though!
One game i was proved right was the mighty Pembrokes beating Uni, a different side at the school arn't they?
The other was Edwardstown upsetting SHOC, oh it is getting closer to finals though!
Do Modbury think their certainty's? Well alot were talking of them going through the season undefeated & they have now lost 3, it may be a sign of thinking too far ahead.
Scotch proved they are the 2nd worse club in the comp getting smashed by PNU.

I have hardly said anything all year but can i say how good it was for me to see Smosh drop to second to bottom... Lets hope Pembroke hold there position.
As a Athelstone supporter the crap i use to hear last year on this site from the smosh players/ supporters. Its fantastic to win a flag but to be relegated the following year what a joke. Yes they will be a dominent side in Div 3 next year but what a wasted year.
Funny how we dont hear from Turbo anymore.... Rookies

I bet the ratio of home grown players is higher in clubs in the lower grades because they don't have the money to spend on recruits ad that's why they don't move up the grades.
What point are you making?
