Now if you think his retaliation was untoward, well thats for the people who saw it to judge. (and know i'm not going to indulge in what form that retaliation came in to all you other guys. Heaters got the video he knows what im talking about) Football is an emotional game people react in different ways, there are only so many times you can ask a guy if he wants to have a go or not before he reacts to it. Some a lot quicker than others. If your that guy continually asking the question be prepared for an answer at some stage. It was an incident between two players, the pultney player wasn't put out for the rest of the game and the game wasnt called off. As for the umpires i haven't seen a game this year that has been 100% under control by the officials. Take the two points move on and we'll see you in round 18. (thats not a threat either)

I'm sure ETSA park would have no problem entering a Pultney OS Netball team in their Tuesday Night winter series. Soft cocks! You can't even win without whinging.

Geez mate, thats a name from the past! Played a little bit of footy with Darren, he was alright, could kick the ball a mile and was pretty quick from what i remember. How do you know him ? I saw him somewhere recently, but for the life of me, cant remember where it wasGood guy, Darren.

If you're game enough to mouth off to a very aggressive and hard hitting side like Haven, then be prepared for a response. I've never seen haven beaten by pultney and Round 18 will be a game not to miss. Haven will be out to prove a BIG point.
I might also mention that the so called 'distinuished' pultney crowd were quite pathetic on the weekend, with their verbal abuse of the North Haven side. What's the go with the Pultney runner getting involved on the field.

I work with him at Masrac Platics, Churchill Rd North.
He reckons he played Full Back... I asked him if he wanted a game with us... he passed on it
He called me a Felcher.... made me think of you! Would he know you as Felch?

Seems Pulteney's niggling tactics worked -they came away with the 2 points. Maybe this could be Haven's achilles heel - lack of discipline when needed. I did see some evidence of this against us earlier in the year, some guys from Haven lost their focus very quickly and easily and undisciplined acts almost cost them the game. Their midfield class got them over the line.
As for Pulteney's 'distinguished' supporters, from previous experience, i have found them to be amongst the most feral around - as far as taunts and abuse go.

dont think its lack of discipline. You just get sick of soft cock sides thinking their hero's and when push comes to shove their piss weak. Heater's made haven sound like meatheads when really Pultney were just wankers!
