No they couldn't!
The Raggies held of a fast finishing Old Iggies team but the wiser older heads of the Raggies that have playing together for a few years held it together.
Having said that it was a great game played in great spirits, even if it did start under a cloud of controversy.

Old Iggies didn't refuse to wear a clash jumper - they were advised by the league during the week that they didn't need to wear one! Considering that there are no jumper clashes listed in the amateur league handbook for C2, not sure why this is such a "controversy".
It seems karma evened itself out on the day given the B grade result!!
