really reckon reynela is a different club in the last few years, the club has a different atmosphere, especially at the club on a saturday night. always good how they pop in for a beer with the opposition after away games too, hopefully its their year.

On a dry day with a big ground I would favour Brighton. It will come down to whether Reynella can apply enough pressure to keep the contest tough and in close, and do it for four quarters.

In my opinion the flies would have won last year if they didnt have to come up against a team that was on a mission to change the previous years result. The biggest loser this year is the towns for me as their b grade had it easy last year and the depth will be shown up this year.

Hey ol man emu hate to say it but I was correct.
Keep your excuses coming boys but the game I watched today the emus were well and truly beaten all over the field.
And as for poor bode having to ruck all game and year brookman has been doing it for the last 5.

Hate to say you were right. Who has made any excuses, only saying it how it is.
Brighton was way to good.
Even at full strength would have struggled to keep them in check for 4 quarters.
Morphett Vale just couldn't keep enough pressure on them and needed to convert those early goals.
Would have liked to be a fly [not a winefly] on the wall when Brighton got our team sheet.
EMUS? the rock stars of the outback.
emus are berserk. they run fast, playhard,
and to be honest, we admire their insanity.

Dunno really. I think Reynella’s defence will cope well with Brighton’s forward line - the big Log at CHB will absolutely dominate if he is opposed to Hoare - and that Beno should be good on Degenhart, so if Reynella can hold Statham and at the least break even and keep up with Brighton’s on ball brigade, they will win comfortably. But wether Reynella’s slightly older midfielders can go with Brighton’s younger (and superbly tanned) young guns for 4 quarters is gonna be the critical factor! If Brighton’s midfield gets on top and they use the big ground to their advantage, they might run Reynella off their feet. Brookman vs the very rested P32 & also Ciampa is another important battle. Brighton will need a lot of goals from their midfielders and resting rovers IMHO, due to the above mentioned match ups. But that’s been Brighton’s specialty over the years, so they should be up for it. Will be an interesting game! That I will hopefully miss, due to heading back to the club to celebrate with the Morphies B grade…

CT’s random tips:
- Reynella by 10-20 points
- Log will get BOG
- Fricky will punch someone in the face – possibly Nosworthy if gets the role of tagging him
- Brighton’s Will Bradley to run the length of the ground for a Manassa type goal
- Matt Whitford to double fist first, and ask questions later

Reynella V Brighton would have to be who is the least Arrogant? Tough call as to who to support but after 2 sleepless nights may have to go for Brighton.

Lot of talk about Brightons run but Reynella's is just as good Ware, Newhman, Broadbent, Middleton still goes well Carter.

Reynella will be to big Smith, Bennett down back Proctor Milo and Munce up forward and Farrier can swing both ends. And can Brookman keep running with Bayliss and Billings for a majourity of the day? Imagine Frick will run with Norsworthy who will Rogers run with been doing some tagging jobs Ware, Prescott or Bradshaw?

I think Statham and Farrier will go head to head at some stage depending on whos middlefield is on top early as to which end they line up at.

Reynella by 12 points.
Bradsahw BOG
Prescott First Goal
Tucker to be involved in first scuffle

Finally will Boof (Leagues biggest Sniper) line someone up at the first bounce?
