For me it will be the flies and the bombers to play that role. In my opinion the flies would have won last year if they didnt have to come up against a team that was on a mission to change the previous years result. The biggest loser this year is the towns for me as their b grade had it easy last year and the depth will be shown up this year.
Hey ol man emu hate to say it but I was correct.
Keep your excuses coming boys but the game I watched today the emus were well and truly beaten all over the field.
And as for poor bode having to ruck all game and year brookman has been doing it for the last 5.

Dunno really. I think Reynella’s defence will cope well with Brighton’s forward line - the big Log at CHB will absolutely dominate if he is opposed to Hoare - and that Beno should be good on Degenhart, so if Reynella can hold Statham and at the least break even and keep up with Brighton’s on ball brigade, they will win comfortably. But wether Reynella’s slightly older midfielders can go with Brighton’s younger (and superbly tanned) young guns for 4 quarters is gonna be the critical factor! If Brighton’s midfield gets on top and they use the big ground to their advantage, they might run Reynella off their feet. Brookman vs the very rested P32 & also Ciampa is another important battle. Brighton will need a lot of goals from their midfielders and resting rovers IMHO, due to the above mentioned match ups. But that’s been Brighton’s specialty over the years, so they should be up for it. Will be an interesting game! That I will hopefully miss, due to heading back to the club to celebrate with the Morphies B grade…
CT’s random tips:
- Reynella by 10-20 points
- Log will get BOG
- Fricky will punch someone in the face – possibly Nosworthy if gets the role of tagging him
- Brighton’s Will Bradley to run the length of the ground for a Manassa type goal
- Matt Whitford to double fist first, and ask questions later

No reason to change a winning formula!
