also good to see pistols hitting the winning runs in his first challenge for the cup. he looked like he was enjoying drinking out of it on sat night.

Doesn't mind a drink does Saki.
But to his credit, sticks to the cokes on Thursday nights.
Can be sharp as well when bowling, just used to be a bit loose. Almost killed me at training once!

Hey JQ, you probably know me from your Lincoln days.. I played cricket with a Brett ( Barrel) Lynn when at Murray Bridge.. Little rotund leggie who could bat alright as well... I think he was playing for Wistow, is he still playing and is that in your comp...

Saki was always the first to open the drinks from the van after a home game at Belair, had all sorts of options...

SO what came of the spitting incident against SCIB's?

hey, Scoobs. You still over there?
I don't know Lynn, but if he's at Wistow we don't play them. We have 3 comps up in the hills. We occasionally meet them in cup matches though.

The spitter got a couple of games suspended sentence, which I think hangs over him til the end of the year.
Going into Christmas, most clubs have teams somewhere around the mark, that's good for the comp.

Maybe someone on here might like to explain to me, as I'm certainly in the dark as to how it can be allowed, how someone who is playing A grade in one competition is allowed to suit up for B grade in another competition just because his A grade team has the bye.

If I am, you've just dobbed yourself in for having two different user names.
It's a shame you had to lower yourself the other day given that I've never met you personally because if you had taken note of my past comments you should have noticed that I have actually been quite complimentary towards yourself in football as well as cricket.

Shame you have to display that sort of attitude but for the record I don't play anymore as I decided to give it away when the club decided to pull it's side out of the A grade.
