Just want to add my congrats to polly I played against him countless times and we would always catch up for a beer after the game prob the best full forward in comp in the last 20 yrs and 1 of only 2 to win league goalkicking 3 times(in a row I might add) all the best for your last game mate im sure youve made the day of many a fullback!

Congrats, Great career Polly !!!! Sorry to hear about injury cutting it short!

3 in a row is a good effort Fido who else won 3 in the last 20 years?

Don't know how much he is on, but he did ask Townies to match the offer the $hoe$ made and he was knocked back,

Incorrect, Golding had no intention of playing at Townies once meeting with the shoes. I'm pretty sure if Golding only played for the $$$ he wouldn't be playing in the SFL, he would be playing in a country league in the middle of nowhere.

Don't know what you're on, but there's been more than that. Maybe the second Emu might be more to the point.
Dion Hibberd won it three times, but before him I remember another three (all won it three times in a row) ---- Chris Hams from Willunga, Baden Taylor (Morphett's other one) and one of DTH's mates currently down in Bomberland Neil Wuttke won it three times straight playing for McLaren Flat in the Seventies.

Not that i'm disagreeing , but why would you say that Brighton are the team to beat SB, have you seen them play this year? Just curious as I know you guys haven't played them yet.

P32 I have been a big fan of Brighton and have watched their juniors and development into senior football and with quality inclusions this year I believe they are the bench mark.

We did play them in a pre season game.

Go easy Shoe Boy, you had us pegged as Flag Favourites this time last year and we failed to deliver.

Our side is probably better on paper this year, helped by some new inclusions/returns and our forward line is functioning better with a fit Degenhardt at the goal front.

Still too early to call and there's a game on 3 July that will influence peoples thinking.

Regardless of how easy it appears for some sides to make the top 8 its still bloody hard work making the GF when you have to win at least 2 finals to make it.

I reckon this weeks game poses some danger first. Something about towns @ towns that just makes teams nervous. Also noticed your 2's went down last week. A few injuries DTH or cove just too good, because that was a surprise that very few would have seen coming.

Also reckon flaggy's could stop the port run in its tracks for the same reason. Flaggy's @ Flaggy's tough assignment isnt it SB.

I was only making a reference to the comparisons being made between the Bombers and the Winies. We are fully aware of this weeks challenge vs E/Town. Its our first ever game at Townies and we will not be taking them lightly.

Our B grade were beaten by a better side last week and the 1 point margin was probably flattering as Cove were all over us in the last half. The A grade scores suggested a fast track but the ground was heavy under foot in parts and the B grade game was a fairly dour contest as seen by the scores of 6 goals each.

We lost 2 players from the A grade after selection on the Thursday so 2 had to go up from B grade which may have unsettled us a bit. In all we had 5 to 6 A/B grade players out injured last week but thats probably no different than most teams at the moment.

Then why don't you stipulate "last twenty years". I bow to the other guy's point though ---- from available records it's only been done twice with three tons, and they were both Emus.
