hang on. how does this have anything to do with premiership points, please explain spot on.

From what I have heard the SFL will investigate this situation, and if a penalty is to be imposed it could involve points, not saying it will but could, just passing on rumors, that's what this forum is about isn't it.

i call it clutching at straws / storm in a tea cup..

Doesn't bother me Flyer just love a bit of gossip. Hope it all works out.

if only i was a ruckman these days donkey. Seems as tho your in need of a 3rd profile these days now, or you could just start saying stuff that you are prepared to say peoples faces rather than hiding behing numerous identities.

As for your constant 2 div drama you keep trying to bring up every 5 pages i agree with you 2 divs would be a great idea for a fairer comp. but in saying that it is not sustainable for those clubs in div 2. you and i have both been around a long time and at the same dwelling at the time of 2 divisions even so surely you saw the impact it had. next time you feel the urge just fight it or be useful and talk to an official not us.

Its a very serious matter Vulcan, there could be some legal ramifications. From what I hear it will be going to court.

If thats the case then please be very careful what people write in here as it will get closed down real quick.
Please appreciate the fact the owners of this site like to avoid any legal threats as much as possible.

and BTP this weeks clash Bombers Vs Flies, will still be a massive. Good chance to cover your depth, no different than having a few injuries, im sure there will be no excuses!

Give us a break !!! It'll be like going down there to watch a B-Grade match (actually somewhere between A's and B's but less than A-Grade)
I've lost interest in it --- the "Match Of The Decade" is stuffed --- I'll just have to wait until September to see who belongs on the top.

i dont agree with them playing during a normal round match, but it's only 3 players for RFC and 1x for brighton. good challenge for them to cover the gaps.

plus one of the coaches won't even be there !
Its a total joke --- a week off for all teams a month ago for absolutely nothing, and now all games on while they take players away. ~x(

Programming wise if you have say a 10 team comp all clubs can play each other twice in 18 weeks. I wouldn't expect a ruckman to understand! ;)

And the other 5 teams? They get a 14 game season with 4 byes? Or an 18 game season starting the last week of February? Maybe the ruckman was thinking about all the clubs, not just the ones who'd get a better deal out of it.

Not sure about any issues with jumpers but I've heard that the Changeroom Preservation Society are also threatening action against the Winies.

What would happen if a club purchased 5 sets of jumpers and purchased outside of the purchasing contract that a league may have in place and also had the prefered suppliers logo placed on these jumpers that would constitute breach of copyright!!!

Thoughts?

I personally am not in favor of being told who a club should purchase through.

If you want reasonable quality then the asking price for local most suppliers is about the same anyway. Compromise on cost and you generally compromise on quality, which is ultimately how this matter was uncovered it seems. We are required to have SFL logo on our jumpers and our supplier is the only one who can use it as far as I'm aware.

Remember Happy Valley going for iron on numbers rather than sublimated on their yellow strip a few years ago and the numbers started falling off the first time they wore them.

The issue here may have been needing a quicker supply than what the SFL supplier could provide but the bigger issue is using a suppliers logo on a product thats not there's.

Now now my simplistic friend, lets not get nasty. All I'm doing is reporting the facts and as I see it they seem to have been backed up by several other posters. You seriously believe this never happened? And more to the point, Do you think you'll escape penalty? I have my doubts.
