Yes, as a general rule of thumb. Although "Tess" might find a spot for a suitably credentialed senior citizen in an effort to get the edge.

He asked me to play. Never played there and only 31 years old

Think ya have to be over 35, or not have played competitive footy for at least 2 years.
Also a strict immigration policy to get cleared up into the hills Norm. Any truth that Sponge was asked to carry the magnet board?

Not sure about sponge and the magnet board duke. He failed to mention that to me. I know sponge did go for a look.
Back to the creek it is.

According to the league clearances the Westhoff back to Tanunda was denied, and now that it is after
June 30th it would be irrelevant would it not?
As sad as it is for him (if it was denied), it is a good thing for the rest of the league coz if Tanunda got more 'depth'
it may just make the rest of the season an almost formality and therefore boring.
And lets face it, we all want Ango to win the flag right.

On what grounds could Westhoffs clearance be denied? and plus I would have thought that he would still be registered with the blockies.

If a player has a contract with Centrals and they want him to hang around, even if he is trying to leave
because he believes he is not getting opportunities, they can definitely deny his clearance.
I think they have declared he is a required player at Elizabeth.
Real shame for Tanunda that.
Also, Happy birthday for yesterday to Jarred 'Rabbit' Rathjen, turned 38 and shows no signs of slowing down,
and congratulations to Benny Burgess who apparently won division 2 in Tuesdays Oz-lotto.
It's all happening.

Will Kent Kingsley be playing this week or was last game just a one off? Looks like he was carrying some of his luggage in the pics in the papers - still 7 goals? How many if he plays?

Not sure if he's playing this week. Could have been a one off project.
His body is still in cherry ripe condition.
Albeit, enough for Brandon "The Body" Kurtz to be worried and also seen putting another 10kg on the bar last night.

Gawler Centrals run riot today with an approx 15 goal victory over a hapless Barossa...... Not a pleasant homecoming for Cooper Pinch against his old club.

Long time reader, first time poster.
Remainder of the season is looking predictable, looks as if the final four is already set:
1st Final - Tanunda v Barossa
2nd Final - Central v Angaston

At this stage a few obvious coaching positions looking available for 2011. Nuri, Willaston and Tanunda

Welocme Mate
Tanunda will finish first, Angaston will finish 4th. But GC could leap frog Barossa into 2nd still.

Barossa v Tanunda - Boxheads will do it easier than they did back in round one.
Kapunda v Freeling - Should be a good posting week for Greeny and Skip afer two in a row.
Nuri v Central - Long gone the glory days for Uncle Ian, trifecta of 100pt spankings.
South v Angaston - The panther machine just starting to hit its straps with September in sight.
