Panther32 wrote:Plenty of talk on our game but I guess a top of the table clash will do that. Not one Reynella player has given any excuses and we won't be giving any in the future. You can only play with the side that's on the park and Brighton definitely showed they were the better side on the day. They were a lot more accurate than us, played in front of their man all day and rewarded each other all day. Like it has been said, we had similar scoring shots up to probably the last 10 minutes of the game and they were a lot more accurate than us (even if you couldn't tell because of the short posts! ;) ).
Ladies day was a huge success for the club and I think the Reynella boys want to offer the Brighton ladies their own Ladies day up at our club.. =P~ WOW!!!
And DTH I have donated my money to a very worthy cause i've put it on the bar at the RFC for Brighton "Ladies Day"...
And can you ask that bloke on your team with the orange rug where he got it so I can get one!!!

Played a thirds game down at brighton with a couple of these ladies running water. Nearly got hit in the face with the ball a few times due to inattentiveness. I personally think it's a tactic they use to distract opposition. It worked against us and it appears to have had the same effect on the wineflies. Not that anyone's complaining. :-o

Correction...Helicopterking......The player in question DID NOT kick the goal ...he handballed to another player who in turn kicked to another player for the goal.....score at time of head count Pt.Noarl 13-6(84) Marion 2-2(14).....final score Pt.Noarl 14-9(93) Marion 2-2(14) Pt.Noarl kicked only 1-3 after head count....

this weeks winners.

C/Beach V F/Hill This could be closer than one thinks with Christies having the wood on Flaggies but after their result last week and Flaggies going down in a close one I feel Flaggies to get up.

Cove V H/Valley Game of the round and should be close but at home Cove.

Townies V Hackham

M/Vale V Noarlunga I am sure our lads will give a competative game but this mob are the benchmark and have been for years.

M/Parks V Brighton Great win by the twisties last week but this is the real deal.

Lonsdale V Porties They keep marching on to finals contention.

Reynella V Aldinga

Games that should be worth the price of admission
C/Beach V F/Hill
Cove V H/Valley

Not worth admission
Townies V Hackham
M/Vale V Noarlunga
M/Parks V Brighton
Lonsdale V Porties
Reynella V Aldinga
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

I reckon the Morphett Vale/Noarlunga game could be fairly close...

Anyway, here's my tips:

Christies v Flaggies - by a country mile
Cove v Valley - will win by 2 points after trailing most of the day
Townies v Hackham - a lot
M/Vale v Noarlunga - 5 goals
Twisties v Brighton - a lot
Lonsdale v Porties - Cockledivers look much better than they did at the start of the season, serious finals contenders
Reynella v Aldinga - a lot
Hey Goose, ya big stud! Take me to bed or lose me for ever.

If Mick is retiring and Wilks has already done so, how old is the oldest player at the pastie?

Christies looked like fair rabble today if aldinga or hackham has them soon could be an interesting result. They saved face in the last qtr for a 6 goal loss I think but could have been nasty for them having 2 goals at 3qtr time by memory
