He is ok and still having tests from what was diagnosed as a mild heart attack.

Bar that the day was a good one with all junior sides getting up and a very close on in the Bs with a 5 point margin. The A grade also a good contest,but you just cant give a quality opponent a 7 goal start.(they where kicking them out of their arse in the first 15 min).

Well done to the shoes. Juniors certainly came to play. B grade wern't to bad either.
Looked like you had a few youngsters in the A grade as well.
Who's idea was it to have Golding lose in defence dumbest move I have ever seen.
The person most likley to kick a winning score playing in defence!!!!
You an't going to win to many games like that.

that seems a bit ironic coming from you Recruiter 10... pot calling the kettle black by any chance. BTW noticed quite a few cracks from you towards the Shoes and its coaching staff yet towards nobody else in the league... not a fan or maybe just a big conflict of interest???

I asked the same question on the Sharks forum a week or so ago, Joseph.

Apparently, Anthony is mates with a couple of guys at Aldinga. Like many before him, he had enough of life at South Adelaide and decided to chuck it in and play out the rest of the year in the SFL.

Anthony didn't really have any strong ties to Reynella - he only played a handful of games a couple of years ago when not able to crack it at South.

The lure of playing with close mates (and some reasonable coin) outweighed the inevitable difficulties that go with playing at Aldinga!

If I was from the Shoes wouldn't say to much about volunteer umpire's cause there was one in the U14's that was very ordinary.
Unfortunately that's the way it goes, thank you to all the volunteers that put there hands up so the games could go ahead.
Disappointed that we couldn't have appointed umpire's for the top of the table clash.

As for a young umpire being assigned to the MV / Noarlunga game equally as laughable, 2 traditional hard at it rivals things were always going to border over the edge, retaliators get stung AGAIN, get in the real world umps! I noticed a couple of times the young umpire preferred to ignore any situation and try to start play again. Whilst it is good to get on with the game to get the players mind back on the job, control needs to be taken when necessary. One thing for sure, if there was an umpire that did have good control of the game, the noarlunga runner would be facing fine or suspension. He abused and manhandled opposition players at one stage, which after the game, even a noarlunga supporter apologised for. Seems if the shoes are concentrating on their juniors, then they need people who are going to set the right example.
