As above although Henley will have some guns back this week, so i'll predict the winner of that game will win the flag.

i havn't been able to watch much Div 1 this yr, but would be interested to see who people think will be relegated. i am guessing that PNU have got that sealed up already, and that it will be out of TTG n PDFC. i would like to see Districts stay up. will it come down to the game that they play against each other?

from what i've been told about last weeks game, Gepps would have to be thrown into the mix.
poor skills , no endevour [ heart for the hard ball ] ,lack of team spirit
the actual quote was " they were shite " to which was added " PNU showed them what a team with desire could do"

Re: SAAFL Div 1 & 1R (2010)
they do have a game on the other two teams who have struggled to string two games together all year. If TTg hadve lost last week i wouldve thought that they wouldve been the favourite to go down with PNU. will be an interesting few weeks.
i saw gepps play one game this year, against districts the first time around, and although they won by about 8 goals, districts had no bench for the second half.....but yea can't see gepps getting relegated

The 3 losses at home have hurt them badly and the gravity of the situation may not be known until round 18.
I reckon at the start of the season, a few thought Gepps would play finals, I know I did and if you look at the poll at the top they ranked third but are miles away from the third best in the grade.. .
Might be a nervous wait for a few people.
Thought I'd bring this forward again.

What's going on at Gepps X? Hardly a change to their list and picked up David Alloca back from Centrals sees them looking at missing out on the major round. Wouldn't most punters have had them in the 5 at the start of the season? They were in mine.

Re: SAAFL Div 1 & 1R (2010)
Having played Gepps 3 times this year (once including the trial game), even though they stitched us up quite badly in the first half of the season, i have never seen them as a team that warrants playing finals.
I think they have a few too many weak links in that side which their gun players find it hard to cover week in week out.
Although they dont deserve to get relegated (my money would be on us and districts at the moment), i would rate TTG higher than them, but would not be suprised at all if districts manage to overtake them at the end of the season.

I think this was discussed before the season started and Gepps had a quite large turnover of players from last year, if you lookt at the names listed below you take the entire spine out of the side -
FB - Scott Klenner
CHB - Josh Taylor
Midfielders - Jimmy Jones, Chris Clonan, Michael McLean, Paul Campbell
CHF - Simon Cox
FF - Scott Challen
Still no excuses as I also had them in the top 5 prior to the season but it seems that Gepps are blooding alot of young players and if they can stay up & keep this squad together will be up there in the mix again sooner rather than later..
Another fact from the weekend, spoke to the coach of the B grade at Gepps and apparently the oldest player in the B's at Gepps last week had only just turned 23, future looks alright if such a young squad can stick together.

Stickers, this has been discussed many times and you are correct, however there is still something not quite right and the inconsistency is killing their results and chances. All that needs to be discovered is what is causing that inconsistency because the players don't lose their talent or ability overnight and get it back the next week.

3 for Gepps & 3 against in the tipping stakes, might finish a draw maybe!
If Gepps bring their A game which has turned up on a few occasions this season, they'll win by 10.

Wasn't their A game but a very good effort. Second quarter with 8 goals was first class and a 7 goal win would do me all day, every day!
