Thats a trip back to the past Mr J. The only place in town that you could start the night at a bar on 1 side of the room and spend the whole evening working your way over to the bar on the other side of the room and only having a conversation with the same person once (the best path was thru the d floor as there was always good sorts dancing around the handbags). Then at the end of the night it was into the back room for a few more to make sure you were really drunk not just thinking it and then to finish the night off it was over to the back door of the orange spot bakery for a pie and ice coffee. GOLD.

Yep thats Gabba at south also helped Porter out as assistant there with the u/19 not long ago. Was an absolute freak on and off the feild!

Massive game/day this week at the roos with the 1990 premiership reunion and Bing Crosby's 300th in the two's. Good luck to the nicest bloke in Australia! Roos by 5-10 goals.

Knew someone would be all over the ole Lennies Tavern.
There will never be another place like it - can see the mad shuffle of guys trying to find a drunk shiela when the lights come on at the end of the night whilst New York New York played to end another good session at the Lennies - Haha

Well put Dundee. Binga IS the nicest bloke playing footy. He deserves every accolade he gets, and i am a massive fan.
He has never asked the club for anything, yet would always put his hand up to play, injured or fit when we were short. Sometimes playing B's & C's in one weekend. Always a smile, never whinges & puts $ into the club. It is fitting he plays his 300th at home in front of a big crowd, including the 1990 Premiership team.
Good bloke, great dad & bonza mate. Well Done.

A top game of local footy really, the Emus kicked against a pretty stiff breeze in the first quarter but managed to lead about 6 goals to 5 goals at quarter time, then we stretched that lead to about 10 goals to 6 at half time. As we expected the Bombers had a huge crack in the 3rd quarter with the wind and brought the margin back to about 2 goals, however we kicked away in the last quarter on the back of 3 goals from Jarrod Greenbank - 2 of the them were absolute screamers!
