Watched Aldinga v Porties today. Not delighted with Aldinga's performance - still need to be getting the ball out of the middle which they ARE NOT DOING. I am hoping that with players not getting paid as much, people will stick around the club and get used to working as a team.

That Porties #21 - said it before and will say it again - can really play. By the way, does he play Gaelic football by any chance? It's just his techniques looked like what you do with a round ball (if that makes any sense). Anyway, he was a gun.

IIRC about 5 years back there were about 4 players who kicked 100 well before the season ended! Scheutz (Reynella), Ryan (Cove), Draper (Brighton) and Pollard (Emus) all cracked the ton in that one year i think, perhaps with others also close to the 100?

Would we put it down to improvement of some of the bottom teams, or the retirement of some of the above players that we are seeing less players crack the 100?

Not sure who chose the reynella best players coz I think most would agree Jason farrier(n18) was there best player along with (no24) Middleton,how these two weren't best is beyond me.bode from mv was clearly the best ruckmen in the game and had the mv smalls been better early they may have not been playing catch up footy all day.A cracker of a game and look extremely forward to the next bout in a fortnights time.both teams had alot of young lads out there today who were terriffic also.no wonder both these sides along with Brighton have dominated this league for so long.

Velcro hadn't been invented when I played mate.
Wore Blue Star Boots with a bit of leather around the nails we used to call spriggs.
White laces on black Boots and a lace up Saints Guernsey is what I wore in my first game.
