Congratulations to Wacka and the Gawler boys, managed to get over the line when it mattered,
the difference being Bova's excellent finish from 50m to win the game.
What was disappointing, and probably just about the most s-h-i-t-ful thing I have seen in football,
was Clint Hill trying to punch Stewy Whites hand as he left the field with 2 dislocated fingers.
Hilly, I don't know if you read this forum, but if you do, I have always thought you were a reasonable bloke,
and I hope you prove me right by getting in touch with Stewy and offering an apology.
Coz mate, that was just out and out piss-weak.
Shows what happens when these morons in the AFL do it and then a monkey see monkey do approach happens in country football.

Was great to see the Gawler Central Tigers get up.
The difference was definately a local player being able to finish from 50metres out, compared to two imported league players who both missed from 30metres out straight in front that could of finished the game for the Ango team.

Admittedly those 2 shots should've been goals and it would've been all over,
but there were several moments in that last quarter that led to the loss.
I have never seen us miss so many targets with the handball, maybe finals pressure.
Thought Brading was excellent and if Heberle could get interested like that every week he is immensely dangerous.
Highlight of the game was Bova's finish from 50m though, pressure kick that never looked like missing.
Definitely no sour grapes from us, we had our shot and blew it, I don't think Centrals have any shot of winning the flag,
but at least I suppose they are still in the running.

Well they'll need somewhere else to train this week, cos their Oval didn't look too good after the Gawler Show ;)

Well done Tigers, certainly been the surprise packet this season after all list experts had understandably written them off in the pre season. Hats off to Crab for making another preliminary final with a young local list.

From memory their only BLG premiership came from a game at Willaston oval that was hosted by South Gawler, can history repeat itself here? Might need some luck with injury against tanunda if they play them.

Had an interesting conversation with the Willaston faithful attending the match yesterday. It sounds as if they have already pointed out a select few for the coaching job in 2011. I was not told names but one is most likely a brand new coach at this level and is expected to bring many past players to the club and also spoken to 3-4 new imports. The past players including Chris & Michael McLean, Glen Graham and Jamie Williams. It is said that Steven Brooks may even slip the Red and Blue jumper on next season.

Tanunda would fear GC more than Ango this season Days, lets face it their win loss ratio was better than Ango's but you can hang on that thought if it makes you feel happier. The big question is will there be any repercussions in them there hills, lets face it you have dropped from 2nd to 4th with what is supposed to be a better side with some very lofty expectations from the Ango supporters (especially on this site)?

In U17s this year there is South, then daylight.
the bottom 3 sides were very ordinary at best. All the rest were pretty even excpet for South.
GC dropped back from the previous years, BD improved but generally a fairly boring comp in 2010.
I say no to drugs, but they don’t listen.

Just goes to show your limited knowledge on the game swooper. been to many games this year have you?
ask anyone close to the scene at tanunda who they would least want to play?'
yes has been a wasted season but would think the lads will only come back hungrier next year and get that double chance which is so vital

No need to reply Swooper, your just another typical Magpie fair weather September poster.
Good luck to the Gawler Tigers after finally getting the monkey of their backs.
Also, good luck to the mild manner green grocer "Stewy White" on a finer career.

The players named below are all well into their 30's;
Craig Harvey (struggled this yr with injury)
Matt Doecke
Brandon Kurtz (struggled this yr with injury)
Stuart White
Jarrad Rathjen ;)

4 high quality veterans there.

Both Harvey & Kurtz's injuries were not soft tissue types so age not a factor,
would think they will both be at pre-season training next year.
Doecke, loves it too much and will probably be back.
Stewy White's excellent football life has come to an end, has been an honour Stewy.
Jarred Rathjen, despite looking 57, is only 19, and has a long and prosperous time ahead.
