given gold coast will get a bye in round 1 and then play there first home game at the gabba, would it have been better for the AFL to leave them out for another 12 months so they could play round 1 at the gold coast?

I have heard a rumour about Knights! he is keen to go back to Victoria and the Tigers are keen to have him... Is there any source comfirming the interest CK?

I think he is definitely one we will chase! I really think he would be a perfect fit for the tigers! He could be at the club for a good 6-7 years aswell which helps! No source really cossi except Gary Lyon on the footy show saying the tigers are going to go really hard for him!

we could offer him some coin, and him at CHF would be great for our side although I think he will resign at the magpies!

Yeh i heard Gary say that too! I reckon Cloke would be a wild pick up, i think he is just starting to hit his straps and if we had him and Riewoldt up front it would take alot of attention off Riewoldt so he can take out the Coleman again...

ADELAIDE will receive a draft pick at the end of the first round for defected defender Nathan Bock while its cross-town rivals Port Adelaide will be compensated with a second-round selection for Nathan Krakouer.

Not that this is about GC, but I reckon clubs will put a lot more work into how they defend Jack next year. Will be interesting to see how he goes.

Dunno why the Port supporters are upset with him leaving. It's pretty good compo for a bloke they reckon was rubbish and didn't want anyway.

Even Krak admits his departure could've been handled better.

Loads of (and here comes that dreaded word) 'potential' but never seemed settled at Alberton.

Hell, I wouldn't begrudge anyone going up to the Gold Coast to play for the Suns and help build a club: pretty exciting opportunity.

Pretty good compo for Port.

Adelaide not so much. Pick in the 20-40 range are very hit and miss and for a player of Bock's calibre Adelaide have every right to be a little annoyed.
