Well done though mate, probably a medal earned over several seasons which would make it all the more special.

Massive effort from Diddly squat... At his age and only playing 10 games is amazing... I take back all the bad things i've said about him :) Also should be a wake up call to some clubs that some BIG NAME imports may not worth their asking price. Count as follows;
Craig Harvey AN 18
Sam Agars TA 15
Michael Taylor BD 13
Sean Brading GC 13
Luke Wells TA 13
Darren Leske FR 12
Matthew whelan GC 12
Brad Taylor KA 12
Ben Newberry TA 12
Malcolm Greenwood FR 11
Paul Stelzer BD 10
William Nicholls NR 10
Samuel Walton WI 10
Top 13 there and some names that are not always flashed around as the best in the comp. About 1/2 are true locals. Might be time to look after our local players and not fosuc so much on these so called "imported" champions.
Matt Cragg Sapsford NR 6
Steven Eichner FR 4
Kristoffer Vanderloo SG 4
Ben Britton TA 4
Heath Commane BD 3
Craig Robinson AN 2
Luke Mensforth FR 1
Ben Casey WI 1
*** I must admit tht you can not always trust an umpires judgement though...

Didn't the great diddles Harvey get 18 votes last year after missing 4 weeks with a fractured jaw?
Last year he slips into 2nd playing 12 games, this year he figures he can do it in 2 less,
the arrogance of the man is astounding.
He is an enigma, and would be the first man selected in my team of the year barr none.

Fair effort by Harvey, if he didn't go to the plains and have such a bad run with injury he could of won a few more possibly not taking anything away from previous winners.
How many votes won it last year?
Did Baker poll at all?

Congratulations Diddles. Fantastic effort. No room for Duldig in the team of the year?

Have to say well done to Diddles, pretty good effort. All this talk about who will retire from Ango but just have a look at your best performer, guys like Harvey and Doecke who have helped Ango get to the finals, perhaps they need to have a look at some of the outside players.

Congrats to Craig 'Diddly' Harvey on what is a fantastic way to finish off his football career. I think he would of loved to go out with a premiership but winning this indiviual medal for a bloke that has gone through a bit in his time is well deserved. Diddles you can put your feet up now and sit back and enjoy a few froffies on a Saturday afternoon. It has been a pleasure to watch you play ;)

Tight A*se Harvey wouldn't even care too much about the medal, he is was more excited about getting into the SANFL grand final for free. Yet just another way Harvey has found not to open his wallet and get into somewhere for FREE. All seriousness, well done Craig you have been a solid footballer in the Barossa for several years.

What a result, now the 10th immortal to join Ron Trescowthick at pantherland since 1926.
Fair chance he would be a dual medalist by now, had injury not withheld him.
Now stranded on 199 club games, Coach Hadden may just need to top him up with tackling fuel for one last journey.
Might have a beer with Diddles on Saturday, I know who's shout it will be. :drinkers:

Great effort by Harvey to win considering the amount of games played. Does anyone have a list of winners for the last 20 years and the votes received. Are there any Shane Woewodins in the list?

And who would have been the best player in that time not to have won the medal.

Strong word is that Seelander is to be reappointed and the club is just going through formalities of the constitusion.
Interesting to see the % of coaches who keep their jobs after having to reaply.I would think not to many.
Who knows he may even end up at Tanunda.

no idea fatsy, my rumor mill is starting to throw all sorts of rabbits out of the hat.

I am putting all my eggs into a Freeling style deal to lure over Scooter Hanh as captain coach. With him on board Willaston could double their total score from 2010 and be a real chance.

Justin Irving is what im hearing here lads

its all done and dusted now irving is the new coach, whats his coaching background pinchy?
i also hear the mcleans and williams are returning. does that mean the baker boys are leaving? pretty sure the baker boys dont get along with the mcleans

Some guys unlucky to miss out but tough to get in front of the boys listed above.

How do you justify having Harvey and bennett in that side? Neither would have played more than half their teams games and it's not like ango won the gf.

Not sure if anyone has written this but don't you feel stupid. yeah i suppsoe it's pretty hard to justify having a mail medalist in the side.
Have always said that Mr. Diddles is the best 'country' footballer i've seen play. Have witnessed him eat bricks for breaky.
