Another question that popped up was i believe Spanagel won the medal in 03 but green won the B&F and we were wondering who won the club B&F in the 1986 premiership year? Hopefully won of the ango posters will know the answer. Was it Miles?

Im not 100% I think Peter Cameron was the winner

The achievement of a premiership ensures friends for life, never lucky enough to get one myself.
A B&F in a premiership year holds huge value, opposed to a B&F in an average year.
A Mail Medal is a massive individually honour and is probably more recognised on the broader scale.
Interestinly, Brain Hurn back in 1970 was the most recent player to win the double of club B&F and Mail Medal.
Ron Trescowthick (1926) and Bill Tonkin (1932) were the only men to achive the Premiership, B&F and Mail Medal trifecta.
Most recent premiership years and B&F winners.
1972 - Daryl Beale, R/Up Peter Kleinig
1973 - Ian Gerlach, R/Up Peter Kleinig
1977 - Kym Reid, R/Up Daryl Beale
1986 - Peter Cameron, R/Up Greg Simmons
2003 - Craig Harvey, R/Up David Green
Hope that helps Cream Dick.

So what now for Sealander?

Seen him down Ango main street a few weeks back.
Think he may hang the magnet board up for the short term at least.
Could return to pantherland with Morgan. Suggest it could revolve around a role as ruck coach.

Lubke to run out of bullets keeping RJ's influence in check and the Barossa Bulldogs to win on Saturday.

Roger's more a Lion slayer than Dragons. Ironically both Brisbane and TV are the Lions. Are Tanunda? If they are he might be in with a shot ;)

When was Tanunda's last loss? Last year?

Tanunda should do it easily tomorrow. Great effort by Barossa to get there, but Tanunda are too strong.

Be interesting who gets the job on Roger James dont be suprised if he plays in the middle last year he spent pretty much the whole season up forward then come gf time he tore torrens valley to shreds playing in the guts although tanunda are a far more accountable outfit than torrens valley too many blokes that played for themselves rather than the team

He spent a fair bit of time in the middle against Centrals I reckon,
If Barossa have Sharpy back and Stelz they could be a chance.

Looking at last weeks game Barossa did play very well. Did they peek to early?
Will Tanunda be over confident and let Barossa in?
This will be a great game tomorrow.

I will go Barossa by 1 goal

I will ask 'Will the bay 13 tent still be standing before the start of the game or will to be missing like 2008?"
If I see it I say it.

Tanunda too strong today. Wouldn't let Barossa settle and if the Dogs made the most of their early chances things may have been different. Tanunda's Ruckman was dominant around the ground with his aerial display.

Interesting rumours around though that after 3 successive flags and a tight budget with no points, GH is preparing to swoop on the Magpies starting with one of their stars who played juniors at TV.

Not far off the mark there Osama, he decided to use Newberry as a punching bag and was sent off.
Warrior, who's the Boxhead possibly set to return to TV?

Well done to Tanunda, they have been the dominant team for 3 years and deserved the win. Interesting to see that it was reasonably tight up to the small fight which saw Lister smack the hell out of Newberry, Tanunda then exploded and blew Barossa off the park. The umpires are really soft, those punches where thrown right in front of them and all he gave Lister was a yellow card? Well it seemed to inspire Tanunda and the game was over before Barossa could blink. Probably the last game for Lister anyway, he didn't even get close to the ball, hope he feels proud of himself.

Congratulations to Tanunda on 3 rd Flag , totally controled game after dust up in 3rd Quarter.
Do not know who player is who may go to TV but heard couple of other interesting stories regarding Tanunda whilst watching grand final down at Willaston while leaning on the rail by the bar.
They were
1) Luke Wells to join SANFL club next season
2) Toby Thurstons to coach Tanunda as playing coach next season
3) Tanunda's coach for season 2011 to be either of Mark Seelander or Ian Stafford ( both premiership coaches in the Barossa Light and Gawler )

Other stories had Angaston losing up to 6 players from this years side for next season , Willaston finishing 2nd next season under hard nut coach Irving, Kapunda signing on-baller straight out of Afl

So it is good to that this season had not even been completed and the silly season of rumours has already started

Skipper your back and are in fine form, yes it was a good win by the boys and they totally controlled the game after the fight. Yes I agree totally with you that Lister should have been red carded and reported but we see this time and time again when the umpires are scared to step in and take control. If it was Listers last game well he can be remembered for being a total thug who hardly got a touch and managed to turn the game against his side. B's couldn't get over Nuri they where far too strong and good and had a well deserved win. Well done to the our 15's, in general a fairly good day for the club.

Yes the silly season has started I have also heard many rumours about Tanunda, I can gurantee you that neither Seelander or Stafford will be coaching there next season. Certainly plenty of stories of players exiting but they where around last season and the season before as well, we will see who lines up round 1 next season.

Well done to Bazz Kaesler on another premiership. Top bloke.

Not like Lizard to smack blokes around in a GF!!!!!
He has a previous record on that front.
Much kudos to the big fella for still going around at such a good level of footy though.

Congrats Tanunda great win, but i think its a Bit harsh on the umpires, as a visitor to the competiton over past few weeks, i REALLY liked the umpiring, letting the game go a bit and letting footy being played the way we all grew up and loved the game! Not saying king hits are what the games about, but 10mins is a good result, and let the game go on! Well done on a great spectacle BL&G.
