Joe Hunt also polled very well and missed about 6 Games, and only played about 10mins in another two when he pulled his hamstring (and the following week when he tried to play again).

Ill put 5 bob on him for next year.

Goodluck to all Footy and Netball sides today, with 5 clubs represented in the footy today and hopefully a nice day a good crowd should be up at Balaklava today. Best of luck to Two Well's Junior and Senior Colts and to the Roosters A2, A4, A5 and B grade netball teams.

Big win by Mallala yesterday, Back to Back Premerships is no easy achievement and the Magpies have been the best side all season only dropping three games. I reckon the Magpies will be celebrating well into the week after winning the double and taking out both Senior grades. The Rams will be licking their wounds in the game that got away. Big Niklaus will be having nightmares about his miss late in the last quarter, along with Rams midfielders who kept playing on with plenty of time to play in the last quarter and bombing the ball into Rams forward line when Mallala had dropped a loose play behind the ball and the Magpies kept taking uncontested marks. All clubs will be busy chasing new players over the summer as we look forward to another exciting season of APFL in 2011.

After the final siren there was a bit of push and shove on the far wing where the players had congragated to celebrate together. Whilst this was going on some Balaklava players not interested in the melee were making their way towards the home bench. One of these players was king hit by a Two Wells player who had left their bench, the Pecker player involved was knocked unconcious and then allegedly (is on video) kneed in the head whilst on the ground by the same Roosters player. The attack was both unprevoked and cowardly and was witnessed by APFL Vice President, Andy Seccafine, who was one of the first on the scene.

If the league does not take serious action against this player and the Two Wells club their is something seriously wrong with the league. The player knocked out spent the night in hospital and was still very groggy at the junior wind up Sunday afternoon.

Totally agree there Hazbeen! I saw the lad get belted but didn't see the alleged kneeing. Poor form by the young lad and would say he would now be a marked man if he plays in this league again! Piss weak bastard!
