All pretty quiet - any footy trip stories or recruiting stories?

Rumour that Keith Earl wasn't continuing next season - any truth?

United appointed a coach yet?

Is Phillips going around again at the Rams?

Taylor taking up the reins full time next season at the Eagles?

Fuller coaching the Association side 2011?

Busch making some logical decisions 2011?

Well I went to our AGM last night for a look and I must say I was very impressed with the numbers in attendance. It was announced that Travis would once again be coaching the A's next season. Great appointment I think and hopefully our results will improve next year.

I havn't heard much whats going on at other clubs, so I have no idea of the answers to your questions Jumbo.

Good Appointment, Trav is a passoinate Tigers Man and can only improve on this years effort, need to give him more than 1 year to show what he can do.

I was driving past the oval and I saw the lights on in the clubrooms, so I called in to see what was happening. 8)

Good stuff, glad to hear that MC. Trav deserves another shot.

Did the Ivan Silvy recruitment come up MC? Is that true or just a rumour? I mean I heard from the great man himself that he would be assistant coaching as a forward line coach and also playing FF, but nobody from United has actually confirmed it yet.

Rumour Donkey. Its funny how the only people mentioning it are from Mallala. Dylan Stoddart would probably be happy that it is even still being talked about now. Gave us all a good laugh when he sent us all that message on our Footy Trip though!

You may like to explain it to Ivan himself mate, it wasnt Dylan, but the man himself, straight from the horses mouth and again last Friday night  He would be a good aquistion for the fundraising committee, apparently he had some tickets on offer Friday night!

The big Ivan always has tickets available - mostly on himself ..... very subtle donkey. So whats the story on Keith Earl - is he continuing on or stepping aside for Jnr?

Same senior coaching panel as last season for Mallala, no changes.

I have asked around about this rumour (as it is a bit confusing to everyone at United) and this is what i've found out. Ivan is apparently old school mates with a comittee member. While both were catching up on the piss one night, Ivan apparently said he might come out for a kick at United next season. Not for any money or contracts ( as much as Dylan would love to believe). Anything about him being a forward coach and playing full forward are Ivans own words only. As jumbo said " he does have plenty of tickets" This is just a player considering coming out to a club. Ivan has not even spoken to the coach. I can guarantee that.
One day original John Palmer will be found & the truth will be known.

It would be good to see the huge fella having a kick again ... he's been out of the game for 2 or 3 seasons now I think.
