Yeah obviously it was hitting in your opinion lol the other batter thought it was down leg and it hit the toe of the bat aswell! Anywho, crap happens can't change it, and really that decision had no affect on the game so play on!
The run out, well the extreme slowness of the oval got me pretty much! I thought it was two straight away but obviously wasn't! Still thought brad shoulda called no since we had barely crossed when he got ran out lol that's how much I left him stranded! I think brad had AFs trailer hooked on

Wouldn't happen to know where the " Mosse Harley Trophy " is would you, we asked about it after the game on the weekend but your Captain wasn't to keen on looking for it.
Get your facts right mate, the captain was asked if the presentation was going ahead and seeing most of the Plympton lads had left to go home and have a shower etc the decision was made not to have it....Nothing about where is the trophy.....you got a good reliabe source there mate.
What ever the reason is mate, at the end of the day, Poor form, as someone else from your club stated, why weren't these players told to hand around for 10-15 mins, all the Morphy's players did.

Maybe you can sympathise with Dimma who gets out 50%+ of the time LBW. Umps don't realise that even if he is hit on the ankle the ball is still going over the top.
I think you will find that I am deceivingly quick between the wickets (big strides - Michael Bevan like), but you probably wouldn't know because you have hardly seen me run between them

And the times you have had to run between them you haven't made it.

Smithy, the reference to your trailer being hooked on, was because this was the first time i have played against you and not seen you been run out!
I understand you with Dimma this time, but you must also take into account it was Hoppy bowling and he doesnt get the ball to bounce over stump height
Dimma was ridicolously plum, no height issue. I thought he was saying he hit his, in which case it was out caught by me at slip anyways!

SAMCA 20/20 knockout comp, Sunday 7th November, Double-Header starts 10:30am, oval TBA.
11 days notice, who the f*ck organises this sh!t?
also, according to original fixtures as displayed on mycricket it was only the top 4 sides from last season;
Keswick vs. Coromandel
Glenelg ANA vs. WYC
but apparently, Keswick are now playing ICC Sharks?

Caleb this is a different comp to the normal association one. This is for PDCA, ATCA, Churches and us and the winner plays one of those associations winners for the chance to play on Adelaide Oval.
Gowser clubs have been informed at association meetings about these games needing to be played before a certain date.
The clubs have changed as it was originally offered to the last 4 teams from last years T20 comp but we have decided not to participate in it.
