What on wet days?
The type of day shouldnt matter. Eliz were better than us when it counted and are therefore playing Div 4 this year. Can't hide away from the facts.

To those from BL going elsewhere for the cash, well it just shows that they were only out at the Lodge for 1 reason, CASH. Those that said they didn't want to play against SW, then just miss that game. Where's the issue? Although they were crucial players at the club last year, no one is bigger than the club and BL will move on. I would prefer the club to back those who are there for the love of footy, not chasing the coin all over the country side. If it means the club struggles then so be it. Atleast the players will be passionate and play for each other, not just the tiger dollars or match payments handed out on Saturday night.

On a side note, good luck to Daniel Schell, who is leaving the Lodge to coach Salisbury West B grade. Top bloke who is very well respected, I would imagine SW B grade, if nothing else, will be extremely competitive and give everything in every game.
Well said masha, i think you had so me handy players running around in the "b" grade. Like i said every club needs to recruit players but you want them for the right reasons. The funny thing i was told last week from someone at Salisbury West that a set of brothers told the coach that they where returning to Salisbury West.

FC i thought you were better than that. Nothing like taking pot shots. I will let this one pass to the keeper. However next time, no special cuddles.

Get on the Bulldogs bandwagon in 2011.

any news on rosies this year? considering they did a bit of recruiting midseason last year, i expect them to continue the trend

if they dominated Div 5 last year, why are they still in that grade?

Yep thats the important question. Answer is they arent as dominant when it counts.

What on wet days?

elizabeth played there grand final that day there big bodies didn't have to run as much as our dominant forward couldnt take the grabs in the wet.. if anybody was going to knock off heccies in the dry last year it wouldve been us but us on our best day and them on theres i still think they would win, there are a great even side

watch out for broadbent next season could kick a 100 goals if he's not at a league club.. kids a gun

The only rumours floating around about the hawks is the loss of vessali to portland. Not confirmed as yet though

all this talk of big 'stars' leaving certain clubs and they will crumble just goes to show that money makes the world (footy) go around.if no money then people move on, its like a job.

wether or not plympton pay players as when we say on here they dont we get told by people outside the club that we do it proves that a team that wants to play footy will always be around the mark year in year out. Yes we dont make the GF because of other clubs splashing the cash and come up against them in the finals but we will get there one day. Teams that lose there grants or cash payouts from whomever fall into a hole when the money isnt there anymore.

Will be interesting game when woodville south line up against west croyden. Many past players at west croyden. On another note, hoping that woodville south pick up a few good (div 5 good) players and become a

Just my opinion...

There will always be alot of speculations and rumours about who is leaving and joining clubs this time of the year and coming months - For those that want to leave our club, then good luck, I trust you have made the right decision! Alot of the times its personal reasons, but then there are others who leave/sign for (IMO) the wrong reasons.....

If its based on cash, then good, I am happy to see them leave as this is not what our club culture wants to be based around. The culture can only ever improve if we have committed people, and those will be the ones who stay.

All the best for all teams in 2011
