Care to make it interesting Heave Ho??

Yes his brother is coaching there and that still probably wouldnt be enough to drag him from Berri after playing in a flag. One thing for sure is he wont be at Adel Luth.

Mate, I don't play there anymore but I've heard it's done. Jumped at the chance to begin coaching experience.
Did you know he has trained twice a week with us for the last 3 years? Developed some pretty good bonds, sensational bloke and a massive pick up...
But we better wait and see I guess.

Not sure that plympton will choke or not go anywhere. The time is right for the club to progress further. We/they have had alot of decent players go through there in the past few years and its been only teams that have splurged money to get anywhere that have been only the teams that have gone up.

Plympton/smithfield have been the only teams in Div 5 over the past few years that havent spent stupid amounts of money and have always been around the mark only just missed out at the end

Yeah not sure about the money comment... Its been done to death, let it go.

They say a new broom sweeps clean and hopefully JC can bring a breath of change to the club, harden them up a bit. I still reckon the Westminster Prelim was a game of who's got the bigger testicles and plympton lost.

Fingers crossed we can have a stellar year this year and put the last few years behind us.

Maybe he was implying the "few years" part, I don't think there was a dig at Hope Valley there, you guys have only languished for 2 years in div. 5, some of us grabbed our bean-bag and nestled in there permanently it seems.

Na didn't take it as a dig at us LM just thought it was uneducated. I doubt many clubs in div 5 would spend "stupid amounts" of money. Maybe a couple but that would be about it. Just sick of the whole money speculation that pops its head up every fews weeks. Unless you are at a club signing checks or handing over cash you really dont know!

Yeah, it does get a bit monotomous, who cares who spends what and I think it's a sign of jealousy for those that don't have it. We don't spend, but that's not by choice, it's by lack of resources.
I envy the clubs that can attract big sponsors and I admire those that do it the hard way, I have great admiration for Blackfriars as they have very limited opportunity to raise funds to stay afloat, let alone pay players.
