Just spoke to Cuz, who's meeting right now with duck-mann and from C&CCA we need the following ;

6 U23 C&CCA players to play in a combined PDCA/C&CCA U23 side against the SA Imparja Cup squad ;

12 Over 33yo players to play in a 20/20 match vs PDCA, and ;

12 players to play in an Open/Senior match vs PDCA - aka 'The Showcase'.

The program is being discussed right now and will be advised later on today I'm assuming.

$20 per player, which will include a shirt & cap provided by SA Footy & event sponsor, JS Sports.

Please PM me ASAP to register your availability.

I assume someone from PDCA will be organising their sides and component of the U23 side.

Thanks! 8)

what about the guys aged between 23 and 33 who are not in the top 11 for the association match !! its meant to be about having fun and raising money for a great cause and guys are being excluded !!! just my opinion

but other than that looks like a great day

If im not in the PDCA main team, im happy to join the under 23s!

Wear a Colonel Sanders wig and you can play in the Masters game.

As O.T has said, we thought the imparja side would have their own uniform, but we have to ensure that businesses that are doing the right thing and jumping on board with sponsorship are noticed for doing so.... It is in the spirit of the day for them to wear the hat and shirt proudly offered by JS Sports.

With all the offers we've has for players someone is bound to miss out... the guidelines we set are just to make selections easier for those coordinating the teams and it SHOULD also help to make the games last as long as possible and create as much of a spectacle as possible! We do apologize to those who are obviously keen to play that dont get a run!!!! Obviously we want as many people involved as possible so please, if you dont get a game, come along for a laugh and a beer with your mates and help out with a good cause.

Scooter, i'm in the same boat mate, want to help and would love to play.....but unfortunately i'm 27 and not very good at cricket! So i plan on turning up with a carton of beer or 2 to donate to be sold. If other people do the same all the profits from the drinks can go straight to the cause! That way we can make the price of drinks for everyone more reasonable too....

The 'AFL' store at Elizabeth shopping centre has donated a "Collingwood premiership guernsey" for auction! I havent seen it, but believe it has all the players names and numbers printed on the back... Ill get a photo up on Monday if I can get there to pick it up

I can pick this up if you need me to duckman. Can drop it to your place at a later stage... or you can pick up from my place. Gimme a buzz if needed.
With that... a slight deflection to the next topic!
