Unfortunately we have been unable to organise a liquor license for the day as they require to be notified 14 days in advance.

SSOOOO.......

We request that people BYO alcoholic drinks on the day and DONATE $1 for every ALCOHOLIC drink you consume - this donation is obviously voluntary but we hope that everyone acts within the spirit of the day and contributes to the cause. This will help raise a lot of money as the sale of alcohol is ALWAYS the big earner and it is a major setback not getting the license.

We will have soft drinks, water, kids 'pop top' drinks, energy drinks, paddle pop ice creams and iced donuts for sale during the day that have all been donated by various companies to help us out - along with the BBQ (snags and steak sandwiches)

R&C got a liquor License 1 week before before we had our Xmas party. It does say on the website that it does take that long but ours didnt. I would give them a call and push the point

Oxygen thief rang them today. I think its different because we are not asking for an 'extension' of an existing license, which was prob the case with R&C, but we're asking for a new 'temp' license

Shirt is signed by everyone in the squad, hat and ball signed by captain and (now former) coach.

update from our SACA help -

"Correction - sorry. I have run out of signed balls, so I have a mini bat signed by Klinger & Sorrell. Also, the cap is signed by Klinger only."

A big thank you as every bit helps!!

Nope R&C was a one off license. I thought it was only a weeks notice?! Bit ordinary. Any chance you can somehow utilise Greenacres FC or Grand Northern license?

Well ill be drinking scotch so if anyone wants one, ill give you one of my own in return for some $$ :P

we'll just do what we have to, to get the most out of the day. Like I said - if everyone acts within the spirit of the day and donates a $1 for every drink we should still raise a fair bit...

Anyone with half a conscience would be upping their 'donation' to at least the larger denomination of the 2 gold coins of our Au$ currency... ;)

We are still waiting to get our full time license. We had a meeting on a Tuesday night and by Friday we had it. I think it cost $27 for the day. They did say it would take 14 days but we took the risk and paid the money. But hey if everyone donates a few bucks it would cover what you would make anyway.
