heard today that virginia and united wont have junior colts,find that VERY HARD to believe mc!virginia i believe but united should have a decent side i reckon.

I think United struggled for numbers in the Junior's last season. I know they don't have many coming thru below that in the mini's and mini-mini's, when we played them last year in the little fellas they only had 10 or less at home and only 5 turned up to Balak.

Start next Tuesday but we had a run late last month.

The peckers are looking a lot taller and stronger this year.
A bit more stamina should ensure a solid performance with more staying power week in week out and be harder in general.
They were pretty disappointed to blow the lot against Virginia in the wet last year, wearing that load on their faces as they trudged off the field that day.
The younger peckers have also put on some size in the off season, and really developed some balls.

Honestly, if we can get Glenn back home, I reckon with 11 points to play with, we should be stronger than last year. Hard to say though given I've only been out there for one run.

A lot taller? Did they suddenly grow? I like how u write it like Uve been there for a couple if years but it's only been 5 mins

Not sure about Virginia but that is definately wrong about United. We will have a Junior colts side like we have had for the past 50+ years. We have even appointed a coach of the Juniors, so why would we waste our time doing that if we don't have a side.

Well, to spell it out for you, again, the first paragraph in the above post about the peckers was just a joke with more bad puns.
The following sentence suggesting I have limited knowledge of the squad and referring to Glenn, was the serious part, starting with the word HONESTLY.
It's not the first time you've taken the first few parts of one of my posts, packed a tanty and not seemed to have processed the rest, so how about you think about what you're reading before posting.
Actually, how about you think before you post in general.
Boring? WTF? Are we hear to entertain you? You seem to have delivered very little on the rumour front so unless you set the standard, how can you expect more from other posters on here?

Good thing about United is that there are people that are willing to make sure they fill a side, whereas it seems as though Virginia couldn't really give a stuff. For United to be able to fill a team and Virginia not, is a piss poor effort considering thier locality and population base. In my view its more the fault of the APFL than Virginia, they should be made to fill all teams, nic off, or merge with someone like Angle Vale to ensure that every team is filled. Yes thier senior teams would be strong but use the points system to limit control it.

Brayden has had informal chats with Joel but he is unsure of what he is doing yet.
Works in the mines somewhere I reckon, so his signing could be gold for Mallala.

No go MC or OnSong, Holmes is working in the mines and can play just 2 or 3 games for the year so its unlikely he'll be in the mix, as for Gerald, not sure what his plans are, but rumours about Joel heading home are rubbish MC.

Even though Virginia have one of te bigger areas to choose from they like to use the soccer dominated aspect as there excuse. They had done great years with there juniors and a few of them are now playing A's so they have potential if they can get the kids interested

Not sure where your info came re: virginia not filling junior sides but for all those people (and im sure that would be most of you) it's incorrect. They dont start training till late feb but there has been some hard work done by the newly form junior footy panel. They are holding come n try footy nights at the local school with todd thorn so work is being done. This excuse you all seem to always bring up about soccer is just stupid because majority of our players (u17's) also play soccer for virginia. The u11's did really well last year with many clubs not getting anywhere near them so that is a positive.

I have heard that Dennis Eaton has role at Virginia this year in some coaching capacity. I know Denno has a lot of footy smarts but am surprised a club would want to be associated with him after the alleged reason for his messy departure at Two Wels a couple of years ago.
