No it reads that it is possibly ficticious (sp?) and you hear it every year about one club or another and everyones sick of it.

Why the hell would anyone from Plympton be so callous as to put a 'who cares' when plympton were inches away from closing its doors 6 or 7 years ago.

In defence of Jabber, I read his post as "we've heard this all before, let's move on" with him thinking it was all rubbish and referring to previous posts with a similar storyline last year. Is that about right jabber? Reading LM's posts, it doesn't appear to be just a "rumour"

Yes that is correct, and even if it is not a rumour, just let clubs sort it out, its easy to sink the boot in when a club is on its knees like smithfield may well be. We were there and tried to keep it as quiet as possible.

Next time though, smithfield can go **** itself, thanks LM.

It is interesting to me having a look at the number of posts compared to the Division they are posted in:

Div 1 & 2 (230 & 193)
Div 3 & 4 (466 & 483)
Div 4, 5 & 6 (520, 510 & 537)

Is it just a coincidence that the two higher divs post less than half the amount on here than 3, 4, 5, 6, 7? Div 2 posts nearly 1/3 as much as div 7.

I guess there is less talk about clubs that pay players (because most of them unashamadly would, and wouldnt be bothered with hiding the fact that they are), and possibly there wouldnt be as much speculation about clubs futures because generally if your up that high your club is reasonably sound.

Or maybe they are just more professional units and don't bother with forums like this?? Any ideas/thoughts/does anyone care!

Don't worry about what Jabber wrote, tomatoes/ red things that don't know which food group they should be in.
I'm sure he didn't mean anything offensive about it now. Enough said, I don't have anything more for you guys, there's some past players getting together tonight to sift through the sh!t and try and find a possible solution.
Joss is fed up with crap numbers on the track, admittedly it has been around 40 degrees most training sessions since Christmas, this could be the kick in the pants required, I've noticed there's been a fair bit of rallying on facebook so maybe there might be a pulse.
They are the facts, the players have been told that there will be no footy due to lack of effort and to be at the club tonight so Joss can address them personally.

I think its more a case of the number of posters and which clubs they represent. If Brahma Lodge, Golden Grove or even Hope Valley moved up the divisions, you would probably see the number of posts rise along with it as those clubs are represented by regular posters (just examples off the top of my head)

Yeah i understand that, but there are a lot of clubs up higher that have huge suppoter bases the same as or if not bigger than the clubs mentioned, why is there an apparent trend that the supporters of lower based (4-7) clubs get on here more?
