I read somewhere that Mardling, McInerney and Walsh from Port Magpies have been linked with Lucindale. Not sure if they've signed, but if they do would be handy in that league.

Heard they've picked up 4 or 5 former pies. Dont know names but one is a red haired ruckman!

why they would need another ruckman is beyond me, they have the man mountain in Mark Snowball!

This info came from mates of mine who are cousins with the coach, also are dodgey sources at best but the 4 or 5 signed as a package deal. Makes recruiting easy . Haven't seen Snowball play but heard he's a gun. Can either Walsh or Snowball play as key forwards?

Walsh has played as a tall forward for magpies and played a bit of centre half back at box hill while on hawthorn's list. Weetra is still at the pies. Players I heard going were Walsh, Mcinerney, Mardling and 2 players mentioned in Div 1 thread were previously at port and now from salis north Walker and Laurenuic

I haven't seen Walsh play but I'd suspect the other guy would be a "Snowballs chance" in playing as a keyforward

The guy is Massive, pretty fit and gives first use of the ball to the on ballers. If they didnt have him they would struggle to make finals.
If they have a good enough list to sit him up forward he will be tough to beat one on one.

can any of you guys down there tell me anything about a player called Kieron Hicks? He's from Padthaway, went to Naracoorte High School and played footy and cricket in the local comp. He's just got a job teaching at Gladstone so will probably be playing footy up there in Northern Areas.

Darth Vader, it would be my guess that most of the people who post on this thread aren't actually players in the KNFL (or at least aren't locals), but are those who know of some ins and outs of the league through friends who travel from Adelaide to play for a club in the South East.

The south east leagues are probably the least discussed on this forum.

yeah thanks. been on that site plenty of times but never really get what I want. Strong on graphics light on substance. I figured someone from down the south east would bob up on here and just rate the Hicks boy for us (me).

Similar type players Hicks probably plays a little taller for his height.
