That would've been what I would've done, perhaps they were worried about Andy holding players back for the B's, I know he used to get a bit sh!tty sometimes when 18's were playing seniors, but then again they were using an insane amount of 18's in the seniors and he'd have half his players with niggles on the Sunday.
We used to have problems with Steve having some of his players only wanting to play B's.

It's a good start but they are going to need more than 35 blokes or they will struggle for numbers in the "b" grade again if they receive a lot of injuries. If there is coaching change where as Joss gone who has taken over LM or Footy Chick?

Steve Taylor will take over as an interim coach, 35 was a good number considering shift workers and some that are playing that just simply couldn't attend. I do have some reserved concerns but maybe that's just me.

Im sure with the clubs future on the line past players etc will pull on the boots when called upon to ensure there is a B Grade each week. Although North Haven would have directly benefited from your demise it's good to see a positive result for you guys, that is no way to win promotion and we are in Div 6 because we deserve to be there. And besides our team is no where near good enough to go back up.

agreed and it doesnt say 35 players were there it said 35 odd at the meeting i would've thought for a meeting of this kind and the importance of the meeting there would've been alot more than that to be honest. i really do hope the club pull through this as i've seen first hand how much work L/M and a few other blokes have put in to that club and to see it fall would be a terrible thing to happen that is for sure.

as i said all the best L/M

Matzy will play at Rosewater, not sure about Kav.

On another note, our club rooms will be demolished at the end of the season with new ones going up, hopefully in time for the following season.

Matzy goes alright beefy you would want to hang onto him.

Good to hear some clubs in the Port getting some new facilities, Rosies were long overdue. They are a carbon copy of Etheltons old clubrooms, must have been a two for one sale at the time.

Are the council footing the bill beefy? We are trying to get a playground without much luck. Apparently the people of Largs North don't deserve one.

Council are paying the majority, Office of Sport and Rec announced a grant of 320k, we're putting in some and hopefully we'll be able to get some more, all up over $2M.
It's not whether the people of Largs North deserve one or not but whether they deserve it more than someone else - like us!

Haha I didn't mean instead of you guys, I was just reiterating the uselessness of Port Adelaide Enfield Council, if only they diverted the millions that go toward their roundabout on every corner fund to improving facilities and watering grounds

Coaches holding back players for their own benefit and not the club is wrong thing to do. Don't no how many players andy would hold up because your "a" is very good side and all you need is 15 more blokes to build the depth and help keep everybody honest for spots. Maybe LM, Hicks.Mags,Fry,Moss snr, etc will have to pull the boots on for the "b" this year!

Hope fully it wont hinder his playing as he is one of the best going around. Is joss going to play or will look to play higher, I no you send your son was offered money else where to play but I think he should have a crack at centrals 18's because he has the talent.
