He was given a life ban back in 2007 when the league bought the 12 game thing in.

there's no questioning. I'd like to see them try and play him...

All those who have been de-registered because of the 12-game rule can this year apply to re-enter the SAAFL.

Hasn't the 12 game SAAFL rule been replaced by a 14 game nationwide rule? Meaning if you have been suspended for a total of 14 games in any league you are banned for life from all leagues

Who is that LM? I have a mate considering trying to get his ban lifted but because he can only play now and then is not sure the money he is required to put up is worth it at the moment.

The AFL rule is 16 games and then banned from all competition.

I think the SAAFL is 12 games and deregistered from the SAAFL.

And outside of the extreme cases is probably fair enough, if you haven't learnt your lesson after 12 games you probably never will

I know Rosies have picked up a few from the country so you would think they should improve

And we will take a 2 spot improvement on last year Unknown I hope you are some sort of tipping guru

Also lost a few who will be hard to cover.

just goes to show what a Kangaroo Court the SAAFL is. Don't even know why players are worried about this ban rule. They bring it in, and then players are allowed back. What you should do is look at a players history. If it was 3 0r 4 reports for swearing or tripping or rough play that got him 12 games. don't award such a heavy amount of games to a suspension. if every suspension is of a striking nature or complete disregrd for the rules, then strap his arse to the chair and fry him at SAAFL level. wasn't the creek a huge contributer in the GF debacle a few years back.

the games better off without these riff raff players

Care to name them Beefy? I was only told by a current player about the inclusions.

I did hear Horsell has retired though
