Not that I think they are a part of things, but Last night - Darren Perry, Jake Lynch, Todd Smthem, Scotty Morris and Simon Maddern, Gilly and Sammy all Divison 1 footballers from Port Districts were training at Haven. Really lifted the training. Balls were really moving around. think haven have those lads for the whole year to train as Districts didn't want them as they are now country footballers. i think haven will reap the benefits of thier skills and experience. What Div 5 club would get to tran with 8 Div 1 A graders all year?

We have a similar thing with a few blokes from Salisbury North And Port Magpies. all playing at Lucindale but training with us all year, definatly brings the standard of training up and never hurts to have blokes from the country training with use as friendships build and blokes do get sick of the travell so keep in there good graces and in future years they may be pulling on your clubs jumper saturday afternoons

Mate i hope thats what happens, unlikely but I can hope, even for you guys, little Sammy would do some serious damage in Div 3.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

It definitely helps boost our numbers, hopefully if we get a few more on the track as we get closer to the season we can split up into A's and B's on Thursdays prob need about 40 whcih we aren't too far off of

That's not bad then. Have the numbers improved since moving back up to DIV 5?

Hoodlum - Yeah we did for a bit last night need more than that to do it regularly.

D14 - They have improved but only really because we are closer to the season starting, there isn't anyone knocking our door down because we are 1 div higher :) Although if anyone wants too, we will welcome them with open arms.

Hope Valley round 1 is going to be a big test for us, I don't think it will be a big indicator on where we will end up though as this has all hapened pretty fast for us, should find our feet and have a fair idea of what we are facing by round 3 or 4 I reckon

Good feeling down at the Lodge, solid 15 to training this week, looking good especially with Unknown Source back out training.

Looking forward to playing Fitzroy A's (Glenunga) and Fitzroy's B's (Fitzroy) in the next couple weeks, will be pretty undermanned, but who isn't during trial matches. It will be good to dust the cobwebs out.
