Hahahahaha - need I say more.
I watched your mob a few times last year - looked like a bunch of monkeys fighting over a banana.
Solid game plan though, relying on the back six to force turn overs and create 50-50 situations whilst the wingmen and followers float across half back and through the middle and only running hard when the ball moves forward.
Must admit after all this, you will go very well in Div 3! Pitty it wasnt last year, would love to watch a rematch between PNU and the Tige's.

If we looked like a bunch of monkeys fighting over a banana, then that doesnt really say much for portland then. We managed to do pretty well (dominated 90% of the year) last season for a bunch of monkeys too! 8)

Well only watching us a few times last year how would you know our game style? we dominated games when we ran the ball & used our skill. Creating 50-50 contests was not part of our game plan I can tell you.

Our biggest asset is our pace & skill so there is no way that we would want to create 50-50 contests. I guess watching us a few times last year you would know our games style though :?

OMG! There 2 of you that can actually use a computer!
After watching 4 minor round games and 2 finals including your GF I would say I have a fair understanding of your football, but obviously you are on top of things. Pace - yes, skill - questionable, discipline - appalling.
Your midfeilders were lazy or maybe I just watched a handful of games where they all decided not to play well. Under pressure your boys folded up like old card tables and then all hell broke loose - example playing CBCOC at CBCOC during the semi.

C'mon footymad, they would not even know how to turn the computer on,.... little own us it. ! Can not wait for SW to go down with a thud. There is only so much money can buy and heart/passion is not one of them. yeah they will win some games on skill ( against the bottom 5) but against the big boys...........GOODNIGHT. I saw a few games last year and yes i saw the CBCOC game and they went down like adelaide united. If it wasnt for a few roughing up the college boys they had no hope.
Your reign at the tp is over, and i cant wait.
Here is a guarantee.....SW player to get reported within the first 2 weeks !!!

Just to clarify things, i can assure you, Tazza and Demps, that FootyMad did not play for Portland in 2006, and he isnt playing for Portland in 2007. Trust me.
And Tazza, you are right, SW were alot better than Portland last year, but if you really want to im sure there would a few people on here that might want to debate about which grade you actually deserved to be in. Things cant be that rosy down SW way - there seems to be a few jumpin' ship.

The Wareing brothers are all still involved with the club - Mark is chairman, Peter is U18s coach.
As for the others, i know the names, but dont really know them. I am a little bit young.

151 the whole of Portland FC might as well be known as Riverside FC. It is run by Riverside people and if your not part of that click then your wasting your time. Portland has the potential to be a very powerful club but there are certain Riverside people there holding it back almost waiting for it to self destruct. The club wont ever go forward with this type of personel running the club.

You are very correct there Felch, I dont know anything about Portland. I know a young guy that does play there called Matthew Gates, is he playing there this year?

Do you also know a guy called Shane Booth? he was out watching you guys last year when we played you at your home ground. I was injured & didnt play.

Newman you need to let go of your issues !!! People cant change anything if they are at other clubs !!!

Matt Gates played a few B grade games last year - was a bit unreliable though, use to like getting on the amber liquid on a Friday night. Good lad and can play, if he wants to. Just needs to take his footy a bit more seriously. Havent seen him this year as yet.
Boothy doesnt play, he is actually good mates with my brother. He was just out watching.
