they requested the extra points and got them and have obviously used them to recruit more players.
if marion had managed to recruit the same amount of players and be using their extra points would they too be breaking the rules?
can't blame a team for asking and getting. blame the SFL for allowing there to be loop holes for this situation to occur.
you of all people go on about 2 divisions yet when a team tries to become more competitive they are bending the rules. dont people want to see quality close competition on a saturday not one sided smashings so for the next week people like you can harp on about 2 divisions and how uneven the competition is?

Difference is hackham are struggling and have for years Marion were almost folded and only won 3 games last year and morph parks played finals only one season ago. By the way roo I'm flagstaff hill so yes it does p1ss me off that your little stunt could mean we miss finals for this year for a team who are cheating. I say cheating because you are doing this not to survive but to play finals

it wasnt that long ago that marion were playing finals. yes they werent that great last year and they wont be this year.
so it seems that most people are a bit scared that there team wont be good enough to make the finals and that would then be the fault of morphy parks cheating? give me a break.
i think it was smart of moprhies they asked and they got and if it means they could recruit more players good on them. seems like sour grapes to me. dont be so scared of some competition after all isnt that what teams want every week or would you prefer to bolster your egos by thrashing sides just to play finals. because i wouldnt call that successful id call that pathetic.

Where does a club like Morphettville Park get the money to play such players as Nyani Thomas ($400), Luke Radley ($200) and Seb Guilhaus ($900) a game????

How is any players within the SFL worth $900 a game??? Would other clubs pay this amount to to have these players???

probably because there are only 2 games on.
marion vs aldinga. i would say aldinga will get over the line and confirm that the match of the year will be marion vs hackham when both go searching for a win.
morph parks vs hackham. no brainer on who will win.

It would have been nice to have one game worth watching played this weekend!

what are ya tryin to say, punk?

Seb - Mail Medallist, SANFL experience and will be dominant ruckman in comp
Nyani - SANFL experience, superb athlete, amazing leap and mark, good attitude

Is not if they are worth it..
The question is will MVP pay them?

If yes then good on them.
For anyone this side of hill, everyone knows any half decent junior makes their way through Brighton as they essentially become the Glenelg juniors feeder side.
They have bred a fantastic culture down there just drive past Brighton Rd Friday night under lights for the minis.

Hence MVP & Marion get starved regardless of how hard they work. (no-ones fault just how it is)
So they both get extra points & spend cash.

That's life. Move on.

MVP - 21 goals
Aldinga - 6 goals

I believe with big Seb-alicious (As he likes to call himself!) is only getting $400 per game... He gets the other $500 to assure he wont talk about how good he is every saturday night!

Don't forget we are paying the Coach $1000 a game and the president is on $50,000 for the year. I'm going to call it early but MR FOOTY, you have just won TOOL OF THE YEAR.

Hmmm seeing as though people on here speak in riddles I am guessing something along the lines of Reynella = collingwood (premiers and same gurnsey) and the only club in the league that is navey blue with the emblem would be Noarlunga or maybe Cove (CFC) the question is what player and why this late in the pre-season?

Seb - yes, but $900.... wow how sustainable is this if true?
Nyani - a handful of SANFL reserves games is a bit different to SANFL experience. Good attitude? this is the bloke that has been from Morphie parks to Marion then sold himself to the highest bidder again this year out of Lonsdale, Marion and Morphie Parks.

Oh well good luck and will beinteresting to see where Morphies finish this year I am all for a stronger comp - as long as it is done on the same playing foiield.

I read with interest that the club who has adopted the attitude of not clearing any juniors and/or past junior players for whatever the reason/rule, also haven't cleared [clearances pending] last years A and B grade coaches the day before the season begins. Maybe this will occur today or maybe after round 3, time will tell. You would think that the "clearances" thread would be up todate considering how close it is to the start of the season, and how professional our league board is.

Im assuming you are talking about Marion? If so i can assure you they signed the clearances straight away. The clearances aren't up to date.

Well let's be honest if Big Seb is getting $900 a game you would think that some of that would be his "coaches" payment wouldn't it?

That's disappointing if it's true. I'm guessing he will have an unexpected injury come round 8...
