I see Ginge hasn't made the C's this week for Lofty!

Also, a slight chance I might once again miss this marquee fixture.

Its gonna be an interesting end to the season for the C Grade with the Redcaps and Gators both having big wins. Redcaps easily beating Mylor with the star of the day being Shane Maslin with a brilliant 108*. Well done big fella

well said Bazz, brilliant chanceless innings by the young fella....108 and 61 in seven days...both red ink...helps the average!!! He owes me a beer for getting out so early to give him enough overs to get the ton!!!

Special mention has to go to the Lofty D grade who won their 7th game in a row knocking off the top placed Aldgate Pump by 80 runs!!! Unfortuantely the hottest team in D grade will fall 1 win short of the finals after losing 7 of the first 8 games...fair turn around though!

anyone know what Stirling did on the weekend?

Nearing finals time, who would be you picks for the flag??
Hills
A- Would have to be Meadows favourite at this stage.
B- Aldgate look the team to beat after knocking off Mylor, all other teams a step below these two
C- Eastern Ranges- As usual, lofty have a good team however and must be a dark horse
D- Must be an All Aldgate battle

AEH
A- Hahndorf really hitting some form of late with Hassold, Baker and Maxwell being key components
B- Wistow??
C- No idea
TVCA
A- Lobethal have to be the team to beat, well drilled outfit with some big names
B- Lobethal again i'd have to say.

AEH
Hahndorf 9/10
Nairne 3/1
Langhorne Creek 3/1
Wistow 40/1

Hahndorf will comfortably beat Wistow in one semi-final whilst the other semi between Creeks
and Nairne looks a flip of the coin.
Creeks probably best chance of upsetting Hahndorf but are rarely able to field anywhere near their strongest
side this time of year.

i rekon meadows would be almost at even odds to win the a grade flag.... i dont think many sides could bowl that batting line up (reid, reid, dawe, dawe, tonkin, dellatore.) out for under 250... and then theyve got a quality bowling line up with.. chad dawe, andrew minnie (whos bowling well) and now rohan reid... i cant see any side making more than meadows could chase or bowl them out cheaply..

Indeed - a great knock. Best runs I've seen from a youngster since a certain AJ Cooper made 123 at Mylor back in about 1998.

Superbly supported by JR too.

Didn't think our boys bowled too badly though. The fielding was another story - must have given up about 30 runs, and the less said about my keeping the better...

Stirling won btw...
