Hope Valley v West Croydon- HV to bounce back and win at home.
Salisbury West v Rosewater- SW to win big at home.
Lockleys v North Haven- Enjoy playing at Lockleys oval, has always been in good nick when I've seen it. Hope we can continue our good start and come away with our first away win of the year.
Plympton v Woodville South- The red dogs to make it two from two
Adelaide Lutheran v Brahma Lodge- BL to beat Lutherans at home and get their first win on the board.

If it is a Broken Bone in his hand perhaps cause he did come off with a sore hand in the last. Could be from taking too many marks or punching his chest. He does plenty of both! Too good for us on Satdee.

just on this it could really open a can of worms the outcome of this reporting the wrong bloke in terms of games leading into finals or medal chance's or the simple fact of not liking someone i'll be very interested in the outcome.

There is part truth too that I believe number 44 was reported for striking number 2 as for the wrong guy I am unsure but am pretty sure that it was the right guy as the player himself said that. I could be wrong though

i've just been told about this and from an outsiders point of view how the hell can you report a bloke who and i qoute the goal umpire here "I THINK IT WAS HIM"!

look for not 1 minute catters do i condone anyone at any level of football being struck in anyway but to accuse a guy who i know for a fact doesnt have a nasty bone in his body and doesnt have it in him to hurt a fly! because the goal umpire THINKS IT WAS HIM just isnt good enough.

And as carey pointed out the outcome of this could have egg all over leagues face.

to add to this did'nt the umpire report the player was out cold and needed medical attention????

yet i'm told after the game he was there drinking on the side line. i've been knocked out a few times in my playing days and it took alot more than half hour to recover i can assure you of that.

again catters i dont condone striking in anyway and i do hope the player did'nt need medical attention i just dont think its right an innocient player gets games because an umpire THINKS IT WAS HIM.

The player was out cold and required medical attention from the trainer who gave him the all clear. He emerge at the end of the game glassy eyed and supporting a headache. He celebrate with the team however he consumed no alcohol after the incident and showed up at presentations only because he had been given the all clear..

Well if thats the case and there was a bit of "i think it was him" then the hearing will last 3 seconds. Any umpires will tell you, generally speaking its the umpire that gets interegated during the hearing, not so much the player, the umpire gives his version and then it gets pulled apart by whoever is running the hearing, and then it also gets pulled apart from the players representative again!

Once the first question is asked which will be "are you 100% sure that this was the player" and the reporting umpire will have to say "well, err, no, i am pretty sure it was him", then it will be game over, case dismissed!

One thing i found out as an umpire, if you havent got a water tight 100% unequivicle case that will be impossible to disect, then don't waste your wednesday night!
