He is a gun

Was well held by North Havens defence, the sheer numbers they had in our forward line when we had the ball was amazing

Wouldnt really say that was the reason. He was stiched up by Matt Mooney and didnt look interested after he was out marked for the fifth time in the first half.

outmarked? yep pushed in back, scragged every contest, umpires saw nothing. other end was all seen

couldnt beleive it on saturday.. down one end it was wwe with there defenders all over scotty mac.. and yep it was play on as he was pushed in the back all day.. but i will give the north haven fb credit he did def play well to keep him scoreless... just upset's you when the ball gos down the other end and the umpires call very soft free kicks.. by no means am i bagging north haven they played very well the umpires just baffle me.. also with 5 mins to go they started calling everything holding the ball.. if you are gonna umpire just be consistant...what are other peoples thoughts on the umpires???
as for scotty dont think it bothered him as bl did still get the two points and done well in the middle too.

On a lighter note...it was great to see the light situation in the North Haven away rooms has improved so now when everyone needs to read their harry potter novels while they are getting ready it shouldnt be a problem.

Not completely correct. Was just following team rules that if you give away a 25m penalty you come straight off.

All I saw was 21 Brahma boys walking off the ground at the end of the game with 2 points....As for Scotty he always draws the oppositions best defender so if he isnt kicking goals he is allowing other players in the forward line to step up and kick a few.....in this case rainsey got three

i seriously hope all you clubs except lutherans under rate him because he will destroy you if the wrong player is on him or hes having one of his days.. you dont kick 98 goals in a season and be a dud.. unlike other forwards in the comp he will jump in the middle and get clearances

I can't believe no-one has mentioned what an absolute crock of sh!t this is, This bloke has signed to play in another league but is allowed to play 1 game for his old club for whatever reason :-?? It was obvious that he was the difference between the 2 sides and later down the track this could affect ladder positions. I'm sure Woody South wouldn't be too happy if they were to miss out on a double chance or even the finals by a couple of goals worth of percentage, which this guy contributed to

Maybe all the clubs who have ex players playing in the mining leagues should get permits to play for when they're back in town.
IMO poor form by both Luthies and more importantly the SAAFL.

I can see where you're coming from LMA...
All I know is their league hasn't started yet.
I don't know the rules tho??? Obviously SAAFL ok'd it! and as an AL fan, I'm glad they did!
Can anyone think of a similar situation?
