Apparently umpires constitute a trial?
Anyway, that's done with, play on.

So, all clubs can organise trials er sorry "scratch matches" on their byes as long as they don't get official umpires in?? Oh this board makes me laugh! Not sure whats funnier, that they felt the reason to stop trial matches on byes in the first place (ie Two Wells last year) or that they are that sh#t scared of Virginia that they can't stand by their convictions & deal a punishment to them for breaking one of their stupid rules. I can't wait for their next debacle (won't be long i fear)

Hummocks 1-39: Hamley to contain Ace of Spades which will go a long way in the end result. Would like to see the brother in laws play on each other but unfortunately that would mean that Ace would need to be playing at 12.30pm. Hummocks midfield and forward line will be too strong for Hamley.
Mallala 1-39: Game of the round. These two side produce close game in the past few years and I don't think this will be any different. I was very close to selecting two Wells but I am down the bottom of the tips ladder so I will stay with the favourite.

Just on that UTP. Why is Matty Koch playing B Grade? I would have thought he would easily be in Hamley's best 21.

Was quality in the reserves against the Peckers. Rated his match highly. Didn't he have some mass stack on a motor bike recently?

The funny thing about trials and umpires (in normal trial game periods) is that if you host a trial you have to ring the league and have them appoint umpires. We got in trouble a couple of years ago for organising our own umpires. The fact they had no umpires should make it even worse, as you still need to submit team sheets and players can get reported in trials.

I believe it is confidence within himself MC, Bleeds red and the black so that is good enough alone for me to have in my side.

He would be one of my first picked. Would get a game in just about any other side I think, so it seems strange that he can't get a regular gig in the bottom side.

Just been told tomorrow is ANZAC round at the Two Wells v Mallala game.
Last post, minute silence, national anthem and Anzac medals to be presented, A1 netball will also be part of it all.
Returned veteran will also be tossing the coin. Should be an inspiring start to the game, the Last Post always gives me tingles.
