Cant remember dj telling everyone how good we were going to be.Yes our form has been patchy but have been in winnable positions in 3 of the 4 matches. We are working on our skill level as unforced errors are hurting us big time.Endeavour and attitude is good and we will win our share.Getting the first one on the board will be a relief and give us a hugh confidence boost.also we should get a few experienced players back over the next couple of weeks which will be good. Hope that enlightens you a bit Dirty Dog and thanks for your concern ;)

A couple of points....

You'd think the writers for sportsbeat would do a little more research and not listen to stories on the forum without any facts. Apparently S. Hinsley and Damon are back to Portland. Interesting considering the played at Haven's on the weekend.

Also during the last quarter of the Haven's & Plympton game there was a bit of push and shove between players. The umpire ran straight into the middle of it and grabbed a player by the guernsey and pulled him away. Surely this isnt on. I hope North Haven lodge a copmlaint about the umpire.

u serious steve? Complain about wat? Breaking up a fight? Looks like he has gone over and above his duties to prevent it from turning in to something worse. U should be thanking him for stoping it before it progressed. Watched the sals west brahma game. Not sure brahma got anymore favourable decisions than westies? The thing i noticed was that the umpires constantly stopped the flow of play with niggly free kicks during the game and then threw the whistle away for the last five minutes.....

Yep Im serious....umpires running in and grabbing players (by the front of the guernsey near the throat) and dragging them away. Oh yeah, there's nothing wrong with that at all. Imagine if the player pushed him away...would prob get a life ban!

the umpire hasnt assaulted the player and had no intention to do so, merely acting in his best interests. U would prefer he report him and he misses this week??? Im pretty sure ur player is not hurt from the jumper grab, doesnt have an app at thebbie and is avail for selection this week. There will be no grounds for any complaint. Stupid really

Umpires can't touch the players. What if an umpire came in and grabbed a player from behind to break up a scuffle and as a reflex that player swung an arm back and clocked the umpire, be it high or low contact?? Lengthy spell I would imagine. Isn't the player only acting "in his best interests" by trying to get someone off him who for all he knows is an opposition player?

Getting the ball moving (if possible) is the best and quickest way to stop any fighting. Going in and grabbing players by the jumper should not be tolerated and is a recipe for disaster. IMO NH have every right to voice their concern

It was A grade mate. There was no punches being thrown either, just some pushing and shoving. The player that was grabbed was then sent off, not to be replaced for the last 10 or so minutes of the game.

Welcome aboard nicole!

I dont think our trainer would be embarrassed by our teamS, as if you cared to look at the ladders our c's are 3-1 and b grade 2-2 so not all doom and gloom there.

Yes the club is disappointed with the start our A Grade have had but we have 14 weeks to turn it around.

Nice first post idiot! No it has not been the greatest start to the year but we played some pretty good footy on Saturday and only went down by two points. Did you see the game? It is a long season and is taking some time for our new squad to gel but be we will keep working hard to improve. It wasnt so long ago your club was struggling and was relegated so pull your F****** head in!

Apologies to the mods but the DH caught me on a bad day so F*** EM!
